not saying i agree with prices, but buyers:

    1) 3000 series 3080 decent card £620
    2) pay £200 more for the 4070Ti version. at £820
    3) hold on for the 4070 at £720
    DealSeeker9988's avatar
Option 4 - don't buy any of those

Still a ridiculous price for an almost 3 year old GPU lol, these shouldn’t be selling for anything more than £450-500 now

Two and a half years after release, we should have 3080 performance for like £400, along with reductions of the 3080 itself to match.

Once again, those calling this a good/great deal are letting Nvidia get away with the ruin of the GPU market.

    Cold. (edited)

50 quid off on a 3+ yr old card.
    Ridiculous.

    Great price!

I managed to get an open box one off my matey for £450 which I was chuffed with. Previously ran a 3070Ti Eagle OC which basically bought this card for me.

Runs games at 2K without any hitches. 4K is decent but I just don't see the point... (Yet) (edited)

Palit doo doo doo do do dooo. Ohhh honey, honey doo doo do do do dooo. 'cos you are my cheap-o braaaand, and you got me wanting an Asuuuuus.

    Not a bad price, though.

I'd take a Palit card over an Asus card any day of the week.

The GPU market has been trash for years now. I'm still running a 1080ti and have no intention of upgrading until the prices are sensible.

As much as this price is a clattering farce for something I paid £720 for in October 2020, it's held up pretty good build quality wise, cooling wise, etc. Spiffy metal everywhere, decently quiet unless you batter it with Furmark or what have you. The THUNDER MASTER software has the usual bad fonts and spelling mistakes than a lower-tier brand would provide.

I undervolted mine as soon as possible as I want to keep it for yeeeears more, as everything is priced dumb nowadays.

Wow, I didn't know the 4060 was available for sale already!

Bought this for £750, annoyingly. But can’t complain about the card; it’s a beast.
    DryUrEyesMate's avatar
You should have paid a bit more and got the 4070ti

Hahahahahahahahaha.......over £620 for 3 year old tech. Lol

Us 80s pc nerds had a great little pc hobby, and the norms did not bothers us and we did not bother the norms, then the norms decided they wanted in on something they at one point looked down upon........and now look where we are! Lol (edited)

It will be better by the looks of it than the new 4070 which is bound to be £600.
