Excellent price for an RTX2070 GPU and competes well against an RX 5700 xt.

Great card, great price.
I have it in my system for 6 months now, it's silent, cool and performs. Also requires only 1x8pin connector, instead of 2, like majority. I have it set on dual monitors, absolutely no issues.

Just one thing about it, the LED on it's only WHITE colour, in case anyone is wondering.

Good price. Wish it had a USB-C for VirtualLink though
That’s not a “super” version so 5700xt it’s for the same price and much more powerful.

Except 5700xt has so many issues. Have a look online, many people have had to return it.

2% overall peformance increase isn't "much more powerful" - not that much cheaper too, eBuyer have the PowerColor Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB for £342.48 delivered (five days for delivery though vs Amazon Prime).

So 2% more performance for a saving of 3.5%, there's not a lot in it. Plus, you know, AMD drivers. And the TDP of the 5700 XT is nearly 30% higher, so it'll run a lot warmer.

here we go stock off loading time kicking in. Lets try and get the highest prices while we can.
Useless raytracing, expensive.

AMD drivers have shown to improve GPU performance over time, Nvidia is the opposite, this is common knowledge. Also I own a 1080ti and it’s a great card

AMD drivers currently have some really bad, almost show-stopping, bugs right now. They will improve but AMD drivers have been buggy on and off for years - back when I had an R9 290X they were a nightmare on and off. A new release would come out and it would break them badly, which has happened for the 2020 release too. Also the CPU overhead on AMD drivers is a lot higher than NVIDIA cards, you may need a beefier CPU to get the most out of a 5700 XT than a RTX 2070.

I don't see how you mentioning what GPU you have right now has anything to do with it.

So much fud. AMD driver CPU overhead is lower than Nvidia, this is because Nvidia spends more CPU time optimization threads for dx11. The current driver issue with black screens doesn't happen for the majority of users but yes it needs sorting asap. Nvidia have had their fare share of problems too just not as recent.
you could have picked this up for 299.00 on BF day and end of year hol`s.
Not worth it now with new cards coming later this year for both AMD and Nvidia.

cheapest I could see it posted here is for 330.
nvidia's new cards will most likely come out next winter, and amd arent releasing anything anytime soon until they fix their drivers at least.
its a good price for this card

It's 8% faster accross 21 games in Techpowerups latest benchmark with the new drivers

tpucdn.com/rev…png

Anyway, this is a nice price relatively, but I'd wait personally if you can. If not, and you're in the market for a card, I'd get this over an XT personally, 8% performance hit but you'll have a reliable card.

Still 3% behind the reference 5700xt in that link, why are you comparing it to on oc'd 5700xt with a beefed up cooler and probably better binned silicon?

Dude, the Pulse and the Nitro perform within 1fps or so of eachother, the XT in that bar chart is the data from their original test on the old drivers.

Oh man, you've bought hook line and sinker into something that's 7 years old now. That doesn't happen anymore, that was a 'feature' of them completely under doing their own 290x and previous versions, they had a lot of room to grow with those cards (they were really good) and had very immature drivers.

These drivers now? They are mature, and STILL have crashing bugs.

No, TPU tells you what they test their cards with, here's the page.

All games and cards are tested with the drivers listed above—no performance results were recycled between test systems. Only this exact system with exactly the same configuration is used.

Drivers:RX 5500: Radeon 19.11.3 Beta
GTX 1650 Super: 441.20 WHQL
All other AMD: Radeon 19.10.1 WHQL
All other NVIDIA: 436.48 WHQL

Your claim is incorrect.

Apologies, I'm very suprised to see the nitro outperforming the XT by such a margin, my mistake, should've dug a little deeper. Point stands though, a Nitro and a Pulse are about 1fps apart.

Yeah the XT hype is getting ludicrous. It's trivial to OC a 2070 by 10%, at which point it's equal to an Nitro XT (the one I have which I believe is more expensive than this usually).
I just took delivery of my Palit RTX2060 Super the other day for just a little cheaper. TBH I will probably return, as with the 2070 featured there is only 1x Display port, the others are HDMI x1 and a DVI x1. This means if you are running a VR headset for example, you can't keep your monitor plugged into a DP and also your headset. This is an issue they should really be ahead of.
The other issue I had is quite high thermals. I will probably pay a few pounds more to get the MSI or Gigabyte. Took a punt with Palit but I think their entry low frills cards may not be worth saving just a few pounds for

The 2070 is better than the 2060S when OC'd
This comes with Modern Warfare free by the way, according to nvidia site.

Best mid range GPU by a mile, get it over an XT.
