LOL its Peat not coal Irish Peat.

Not a bad deal for those of us who live in the past and who love our stoves but I get most of my heat for free with wood offcuts from a friendly company. Free heat! I love life in the bronze age.

I have to admit that I did rather enjoy it.

By the way a better deal is to get a tonne of economy coal briquettes for £300 from taylor-frith.co.uk/
If you wait until the summer they usually offer free delivery too.

1000kg (ie 1 tonnes) for £240 HERE

That's better gekkoa!

If you need a bit of exercise and live near woods I can recommend collecting fallen wood, when I had a stove I used to take a couple of Ikea bags on walks and load up, the mire I did it the more I could carry, great upper body and thigh workout and after a few months seasoning if green its ready for fuel, my best fires were always the ones where I knew I'd got the wood for free!

Sorry, as to the offer I do have concerns about peat, it's not environmentally friendly as cultivating peat releases a lot of methane and that's even before you've burnt the stuff, and methane is more damaging in many respects.

go green

This stuff smells wonderful

Whereas collecting fallen wood and depriving many plants and woodland crawlies of their habitat is perfectly fine.

Hey is this serious?
