Product Description
The Pre 2 smartphone has been re-engineered to do more of what you want to do - faster. Quickly switch between multiple open apps. Simply start typing to begin an email or update your status. Tap a message notification while you're playing a 3D game. With HP webOS 2.0, accomplishing more is effortless.
Streamlined design
Palm Pre 2 features a sleeker design that still gives you the perfect combination of a vivid touchscreen and slide-out keyboard. And now with a completely smooth glass display, Pre 2 is as durable as it is graceful.
True multitasking
Pause a game, tap an email notification, check your calendar, read a restaurant review, send an email reply, then switch back to the game without closing anything. Now in webOS 2.0, your open apps are logically grouped together in card stacks, so managing multiple tasks is ridiculously easy.
Automatically up to date
Keep your contacts and calendars up to date automatically with built-in integration for Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Yahoo! and Microsoft Exchange. When a contact's information changes in one place, like an email address on LinkedIn, for example, you'll see it updated on your phone.

Just not sure of the network

I like WebOs on my Pre3, but I'm not so sure I'd want to buy it again and certainly not now it is totally dead in the water with no updates or hope for a future. I will have at the end of a 12mth contract paid less than this ones headline price and that gives minutes texts and web at that plus a phone that isnt the previous generation. If this was a Pre3, I'd give it heat but a Pre2 with no hope of a future, I think you'd be better with an android powered phone like the San Francisco or otherwise. With the touchstone it is a reasonable price but I really dont know if it would be justified.

Just not sure of the network

With eBuyer they are usually sim free phones.

Would not touch with a very long barge pole.

I have had a PalmPre for nearly 2 years and never again. Support is now non existent, HP have just recently blocked the Palm/HP Google Maps app and substituted this with Bing maps, no notice or the like, and to make things even worse, if try and go to Google maps through the Web Browser it even blocks access that way too!!
As a piece of hardware its not bad but just assume there will be no apps or support and you should be fine.
