The incredible Infra Red Palm Z Indoor Micro Plane is probably the smallest Remote Controlled Aeroplane in the World, and is firmly predicted to prove another Flying Toys phenomenon following the unprecedented success of the Picoo Z.

Lightweight, safe and easy to fly up to three together on Bands A, B & C using rudder and proportional motor control, this tiny eight inch Indoor Biplane features a red LED flashing light, and has a spectacular performance in the smallest of spaces!

Flying Toys inexpensive Palm Z is supplied completely ready-to-fly, with a single powerful micro motor driving a geared pusher prop, and is made of flexible
Expanded Polypropylene Foam to survive the occasional heavy landing.

Featuring a fast charging facility for fabulous long flight times, the Lithium Polymer flight battery will provide fantastic flights of five minutes or more between charges, yet can be recharged in just fifteen minutes with the portable charger provided.

Brilliant for miniature indoor Pylon Racing, or amazing Formation Flying with your friends, and almost certain to become the hottest 'Big Boys Toy' of 2007!

Voted cold just because they only stay in the air for about 2 minutes, very frustrating, even as cheapo toys.

no offense mind...

Nope, thanks for the comments ourdave. I only have a Picoo Z, if these arent as good then its better to share your opinion, saves other people being dissapointed.

Bit odd.....If you want a different color its £4 extra???????

I was considering some of these last xmas. How long do the Picoo Z's stay up for?

TIA

These were all the rage at the British Model Flying championships with the kids (of all ages!) who flew them by the hundred in the hanger each evening. They fly for about 5+ minutes on a charge & then recharge takes about 10 minutes from the transmitter. They are a lot lighter than the other similar models and will thus fly in a smaller area and are much slower - less than walking speed which again helps with small area flying.

They fly well but need a badmington court size area to turn easily & are really intended for indoor use as they are so light ANY breeze just carries them with it. Like any model plane you do learn how to fly them & intially might find it more difficult than you expect. I would say that the other slightly heavier & faster models would be better for the garden although no model of this size/ weight likes moving air of any sort. These are also infra red controlled which works beautifully indoors but is not helped by bright outside light.

There are three channels - one for each colour - and thus up to 3 can be flown at once as long as they are different colours - only one green at a time.

I have one & think it great fun.

My most recent one does around 10 minutes. My first 2 did 7/8 minutes initially and now do around 10 minutes. Hopefully my new one will improve as well.

cheers.
