Might seem a bargain but it's a pretty rubbish car seat...if this is your budget, honestly go for the Britax Prince. The RRP of £139.99 is a joke too....this would NEVER EVER sell at that price...it would be inline with Britax Eclipse, Fist Class Plus, Maxi Cosi Priori XP etc which are a world away from this thing! Halford's 'Half Price' offers should be done by trading standards for misleading customers!

The maxi cosi priori xp is a much better seat to go for, with the seat bealt tensioner, the easy strap adjustment, and is overall just a great seat. However if you really refuse to buy that, this is actually a better fit in most vehicles in comparisson than the britax prince. (I fit a lot of seats and i don't like that seat) The britax prince has a flimsy clasp that the seat belt goes through to hold it in place. The comfisafe has a clip that locks in place over the seat belt so you get much less movement and is less likely to wear over time than the britax prince's clasp.
looks like a teamtex/nania seat to me.
I'm a trained car seat fitter and would recommend the Prince over this altho' I realise a lot is down to personal taste. Had to use the Prince (or Freeway as it was known then) for my twins as it was the only seat I could fit 2 of in the back seat whilst still allowing room for my eldest.....fit perfectly, solidly and we never had any problems with the clasp in the 3 years we used them. I also find it to be a good option for cars fitted with seat belt buckles attached to webbing to avoid buckle crunch tho' on slightly longer webbing the First Cass Plus using alternative seatbelt routing is usually the only option.

Certainly wouldn't hesitate to use or recommend the Prince. With regard to the Pampero, I personally find red the lock-off clip to be quite flimsy and I'm not confident it would stand the test of time. recline isn't as 'fluid' as on other models altho' I would say the Prince's main downside is that it doesn't have the conventional recline...we used ours in a part recline all the way thru' so it never bothered me but can see that it might affect it's popularity.

kinda OT but i see that halfords also have a Bellelli for the same price - have the seat gurus got any thoughts on that one? We're got a maxi cosi tobi (which is a great seat) in the wifes corsa (the axiss didn't fit) but i'm looking for an occasional use seat for my car. I was looking at the prince but the britax fitting guide doesn't show it fitting my car (alfa 166) so i'm not sure what to go for....i know a priori XP is a good fit in the car as another owner advised me of this (i think the seatbelt tensioner helps) but i was hoping to get something a bit cheaper since it will only be used occasionally.....
well looks like i've answered my own question as the britax fit finder is now saying the prince fits! That's weird as it wasn't the other day....anyway, opinions on the bellelli would still be welcome
scrap that, i was right the first time....doesn't fit in the rear seats.
Thanks for this great deal! It has been featured over on the HUKD blog ]Playpennies!

I would also like to know what people think of the Bellini, I need a seat for our 2nd car, we have the Price in our other car which is fine but pretty basic. I don't really want to spend much more than £70.
After reading comments don't think I will buy the Pampero, one thing would like to add, although Which class Kiddy infinity pro as a best buy, it's not! child hates it and slips down. Need a good safe alternative that won't break the bank, it's for 2nd car.
