Do not buy any microwaves from Robert dyas, none of them come direct from them, they cone from the supplier so if you gave an issue then you have to fight an up hill battle with poor customer service. They try to make you pay postage aswell.

If you buy from Robert Dyas your "contract" is with Robert Dyas, they are not abiding by the consumer laws if they refuse to take responsibility for a faulty item.

Not one of the inverter models (the ones that vary the output power instead of simply "ON/OFF" like all other microwaves do.)
Panasonic are the only ones who manufacture inverter microwaves (afaik)

1st, Robert Dyas take faulty within 1 year as in law and they never refuse. Not sure where you getting lies information. Don't give people false information.

Might be true, Very.co.uk do the same... Some companies don't care about what the law is.

To avoid untold story, just register the warranty with the manufacturer and get extra 6months extension. That's why l always do.

I work in Robert Dyas, like any faulty or exchange or refund are always welcome, never had any problem

I said this to numerous customer service people over the phone and none of them would accept it. I think they muxt be given the same talk about getting things returned. Useless.
