Yeah that's how much I got it for but not everyone has NUS so left it at £69.99

great reviews great price

Nearly voted cold for the terrible puns (buns??) at the beginning
Voted hot, of course, excellent price for an excellent bread maker

Nice Puns - nice to see they are all spelled correctly unlike many other posts.

Great post, purchased! I think you may have to be an 'early riser' to benefit from the 'dough' saving! (aarrghhh)

This is hot hot hot. Stock will be toast by lunchtime.

Bargain, deal of the deal I'm sure if it lasts, thanks op and heat

Thank you so much. For once, I feel there is a reason trawling through this site! BRILLIANT! Ordered. Always want an extra one as son has to lug the 2501 home every time he comes back from uni!

I am very very tempted by this, but a little put off because we had a bread maker years ago and it was ok, but actually not as nice as decent bought bread, too heavy/dense for me.
Does anyone have one? I notice in the review someone says that the bread is light, but I'd hate to spend the money and be disappointed.

You can always adjust the recipe yourself if you find that, although there's plenty of different variations included in the book. I have the older model of this, which gets used every other day (just come downstairs now to a fresh loaf) - previously had a Morphy Richards, which was rubbish and produced a different result each time.

I find the Panasonic very forgiving in that the bread is great even if I haven't been that precise with measuring the ingredients (apart from the time I completely forgot to add the yeast- dough!).

So tempted, it would replace my SD257 which I've had for about 7 year. Nothing really wrong with it though apart from the bread pan & paddle are scratched - to replace those costs just about as a much as this offer

Thanks for the feedback. Spent the last ten minutes reading reviews, all of which have been excellent. Do I need a breadmaker in my life........

I believe it is the same one, just amAzon didn't include the full model number.

I've got this exact model - think mine cost £120.

The bread out of it is great, I generally make a loaf of 50/50 weekly - and more than happy with the results. As with all things, a better flour/yeast = better results. But you just cannot get easier than this.

Put the tin on the scales, measure out flour, butter & water. Add in salt/sugar - put in breadmaker and add yeast. Press a button and walk away. Fresh made bread 4-5 hours later.

Anyone on the fence - go for it, tbh worth buying to ebay for a profit!

Fab deal, would be a pitta to miss this one! I have this model, it's excellent makes lovely bread- also dough for rolls are yummy. Have made cakes in mine also but found it to be too much hassle for what it's worth. But as a breadmaker - its enriched my life! Great fruit breads and walnut rolls. Easy to use, easy to clean. Hot!

Did i want a breadmaker, No. Do I need a breadmaker, No
So why am I now the owner of a breadmaking machine???

hot deal, got an older model, great proper bread!

hot nice puns

This has always had excellent reviews on here and whenever it's reduced it gets lots of heat, often considered it before but finally caved in and ordered. It'll replace my £25 Rachel Allen one that I bought as an experiment, it's been a bit hit and miss but made me realise that I will use a bread maker.

Ditto.

Any I wasn't that interested in this one either. Until I spotted that IT MAKES JAM!!!

Now I have to resist and hope it sells out at this price before I cave in ....

Great breadmaker. Got it for Christmas for £135 and very happy with it.

How much does it cost to make a loaf of bread?

It is not cheap, you'll use about a third of a bag of bread flour so at least 33p per loaf plus butter, sugar, salt & yeast.

I've got the 2500 Panasonic bread maker, it's brilliant. Also good for making pizza dough with its kneading function. The bread will only be dense and heavy if your using the wrong mix of ingredients I.e to much flour or not enough yeast.

Thanks op

Ordered to give it a try!

Brilliant find, ordered thanks!

Finally. Been waiting for a price drop since Xmas. Heat!!

What does automatic bread taste like when compared to wholemeal or rye?

Does this bread maker leave a big hole in the middle of the loaf where the paddle sits? I used to have a bm'er and was fed up of cutting up the loaf to find half of it missing!

Comforting to note this is the more expensive model you can put your nuts in

This model has a separate container for the yeast, which avoids yeast/salt contamination issues. A real bargain...while it lasts.

Thanks Op been wanting one of these for a while.

Fantastic deal. This machine makes the tastiest bread ever, my little one won't eat any other bread.
