I rung HyperFi, they are Ex display models and could have been left turned on for a considerable time. Server collection only on a first come first serve basis. I did think about collection by a courier but considering they are Ex display I think Id want to view the Tv first to make sure there was no damage to the outer case. Think its a case of Buyer beware!!

that is plasma TV. production for plasma TV was stopped 2 years ago.

Anyone know the model numbers? I guess they might be random for each store...

Panasonic did. Samsung kept them going a bit longer. And I think LG went even longer.

Not that it makes it bad TV. The best Panny plasmas are still better than any LCD/LED set you can buy today for overall PQ.

However, being ex-display, I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole ....

They only have the one store in Romford,

Although it does not say that it's ex-display/grade A this looks too good to be true if you are looking for a 4K tv -

Interesting comment.I know someone in the electronics industry and he says Sonys are the most reliable!
I had a LG for 4 years with no problems.

Panasonic TV's are ok if you just need something cheap or for bedroom, no where near as good as Sony or LG.

Good price though for what it is.

wouldnt buy another sammy or tosh - in my experience very unreliable. Panasonic or sony are best in my experience.

I do love all the expert opinions that the TV deals bring forth. Personally I am a Bush man myself.

why does the OP not say ex-demo

40 inch sony £150? That's great. But I don't have a car.

There are good and bad TV's in almost ALL makes. (Even Panasonic)
I don't think I know a manuf that hasn't turned out a duff TV.
And you cant compare a Tosh with a Sony or Panny if you are only paying 2/3 the price.
Panny's take a lot of beating.
Good deal OP.

Ive got two panasonics, two samsungs and a phillips. The phillips overall for me is the best of the bunch even though I'm a big fan of panasonic.

Had a Toshiba CRT which had no problems for 12 years.Bought my dad a Toshiba LCD on that basis and the thing went wrong after 18 months!
I now have a Samsung.Bought from John Lewis with the free 5 year warranty at a good price. No way was I going to risk getting it with just 1 year from anywhere!
A lot do develop faults after a year or so.I was told they "overclock" their Tvs.That would account for the failure rates. It's usually blown capacitors on the PSU, which is easy to fix if you can do a bit of soldering

I have a panny 42" plasma from back when they cost over a grand, it has by far the best picture quality of any telly I've had before or since.
I bought a 50" LED panny on the strength of it and I have to say it's not as "wow", but I love the fact that the On demand has all the channels so we watch old runs of inbetweeners and skins to our heart's content

Great price for that size TV. Heat!

I have Samsung & like Samsung but they are not in the same league as Panasonic, that I also have. I also have a 32" & 42" LG both are excellent & have been reliable, but at the end of the day Panasonic are the best..

Can't beat Finlux for value!!

I love plasma panels....I'm still using a 5 year old Pioneer Kuro KRP-500M I have tried finding a TV to match the picture quality and black levels but these LED's don't come close.

My first LCD was a Samsung and I had it repaired under warranty numerous times. Faulty tuner on numerous occasions.

Our current LG has been trouble-free ever since we purchased it, which must be knocking on 3 years now, if not longer.
