3D ready (no glasses included), 1080P, smart TV.

I collected mine yesterday and it is amazing - Colours, contrast and response all great.

I viewed it side by side with LED TVs priced at £1200+. It knocked spots off them!

Free 5 year warranty if collected from Huddersfield or East Midlands showroom.

My first deal, so be nice!

I think it would drain your battery.

Nice spec for the price but aren't Plasmas an unwise choice these days? My understanding is that they produce great blacks but are very power hungry. The Amoleds are the right panels to buy these days.

Well anyone who finds it hard to know the difference between plurals and possessive may not be the greatest source of consumer electronics advice, at least not in my opinion. So I wouldn't worry too much. Probably thinks they need re-gassing or some such old piece of received wisdom.

I bought this tele from Comet in October for £500 with 2 pairs of 3d glasses. Cracking piece of kit, looks amazing with Xbox 360, Blu ray/3F from PS3, and also streaming things to it from my PC! A few friends have been round to my house and they are all soooo jealous that my TV is so awesome. Everyone should buy, you will NOT be disappointed. The best 500 pounds I have ever spent, FACT.

What a great tv this is, paid £600 pounds for thiswith a free panasonic warranty and no regrets wotsoever, buy this if your after a 42" tv you will be made up!!!

I think it might be worth stating that there are only 2 types of tv you can buy right now ! Plasma and LCD , OLED is still in development .

It's just the backlight that's different from CCFL to LED , so stop calling them LED tv's , because they are still LCD TV's .

Good price for a great tv. I just paid £100 more for the gt30 but now I'm having second thoughts.

@Monkey nuts 2, imo the gt30 is a very nice tv definitely worth over £100 more. On their website its £950!

To be honest £450 was a stretch for me - the warranty persuaded me.

As a result, I've got a TV waaaaaay better than I though I would be getting!

So tempting. Heat added. This TV seems to have been discontinued but I don't see any issue with that.
    The same offer:
    - in St Albans for £50 more: hispek.com/pan…1Aw
    - Birmingham @ TotalDigital for £427.00 totaldigital.biz/ind…54c

    1yr warranty:
    - Debenhams Plus for £464 with one year warranty (Do they price match?): debenhamsplus.com/DE_…gle
I don't know anything about how good customer service is for the above sellers so comments are welcomed
The best thing would be if JL would price match but they don't seem to have this TV

Honestly bud, If you can't get to Directtvs, I'd buy the one in your link for £500 in a flash!

    This TV is simply awesome!

The pictures great, the 3D is good (once you buy the glasses) and build quality is excellent.

Its so well made its ridiculous - its bordering on industrial with its steel construction!

Good find, but no 5 year warranty offered, as far as I can see. Just the standard 1 year.

If you are getting it delivered, then your link is better, as you have to collect to get the free warranty from panasonic.

I did mention in my description that glasses are no included...

Not pretty (not ugly either and nicely thin) but a cracking picture that handles motion so much better than any LED TV that I have owned or seen. It lacks a bit in the connectivity with no DLNA but other than that it's a quality set I'm happy to own.

They dont even sell Organic LED TV's yet, so how are you going to manage that.

Samsung plan to produce their first 55" Organic LED TV later this year and it is said that it will retail at about £10,000.

great telly, but the downsides are the weight, the heat and the power usage. Still.....£450 quid!
  32. Jimmyboy's avatar
Looks great, only negative observation is it looks like all the connections in the back are "horizontal" so loads of wires poking straight out making it difficult to mount on a slim bracket. I suppose you old buy 90 degree angled hdmi adapters so the wires plu in vertically though.

Watch out, Hi-Spek are a bunch of cowboys. Do not purchase from them. I live locally and could list 100 horror stories from that dodgy out-fit. They make up the rules to suit themselves, the people working there are rude and unhelpful. Generally a place to avoid.

    This deal however, is HAWT.
