You are right - this isn't OLED and it wouldn't have as good a picture as an OLED TV...
...but you can't get an OLED TV in 40" size (the min is 55").
...and you can't get an OLED for £400
So, if you need or prefer a smaller TV, this is pretty good. I own one and the picture quality is superb. The upscaling of broadcast TV isn't bad either. It's not perfect, but it's very good for this price...

He was surprised at the energy consumption next to his OLED, there was no comment there about picture quality.

@AJ92: Television are rated proportionally to screen area, so although this is B it uses a lot less energy than a 55"+ B rated TV like an OLED. For example this is rated at 84W next to the 55" LG B6 OLED at 145W.

This is a good TV for the price.

Yes it's obvious it's not a 4k OLED I had a 55" Sony 4k and that was A so it don't get why a 40" tv would rated B

Because the letters refer to different amounts of power consumption at different sizes of TV. For a TV to get a higher rating it has to have a lower power consumption than other TVs at the same size.

So your Sony drew a lot more power than this did, but had a higher rating because it was more efficient compared to other 55" models than this is compared to other 40" models.
