Was looking out for this tv for a while. Used to retail at £639 and subsequently dropped to £579 and stayed at that price for a while. Still same for other retailers but John Lewis dropped it to £499

If the extra year's warranty is important (if it broke down after 5 years and 1 month of ownership you would look back on it as astute business!) I'm sure Richer Sounds will price match this (and probably beat it by a tenner). Currently 549 quid there

great tv and great price, have been really impressed with the quality of this set.

Stand isn't the best as hard to hide cables or legs too far apart if you want to stand on a soundbase or something

don't get fooled by cheap 40 inch tvs there is a reason they are cheaper!

I am currently looking into this set and I had read that the legs were adjustable and you could have them either wide or narrow. Is that not the case? I'd be grateful if you could confirm.

Looks nice.

Whats the input lag like for gaming?

on the 40 inch you can only turn them round so still at the edges of the set / wide, on the bigger sets they can be moved to a middle position to almost create a circle front or back / narrow so would sit easier on a soundbase on cupboard if smaller that the set

The N6800 starts at 50", so that's a big difference in size even if you're looking at the smallest.

Size is not what is important for gaming, input lag is.

If this site is to be believed in gaming mode you can get 21ms, which is good for a mid range TV.
