Best price I've seen for this 40" TV.

Shipping and 5 year Warranty Included in the price.

4K UHD, with HDR10+, HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision, Freeview HD, HCX Processor.

**UPDATE**
In the end I actually rang up Richer Sounds to get them to 'Price Beat' this by another £10 and with a 6 year warranty.

It's not the cheapest 40" TV by far, but in terms of performance and tech, it's great value IMO.

Can't see anything about the 5 year warranty on the ebay page though? Unless I'm being blind.
5 year warranty is only at selected retailers which I doubt eBay is.

Yes, or know someone with a Costco card...
Hardly any 40" 4k panels are manufactured, that's why this is so expensive.
The 58" model was 599 at Costco a bit over a week ago.

That is a terrible poor price for a 40" TV.
Overpriced because almost no one is doing 40" inch TV's anymore.
I am looking to get a 40 inch monitor, and there is nothing there on that size. Also my desk is wierd so can fit this but not something larger than this.

43 inch is the closest and the prices are double this with a baffling GBR banner instead of RGB for monitors. Would this be recommended for monitor usage? Gaming, programming will be the main usage. Once a proper FALD monitor pops up ill swap it and this would go to the bedroom but talking years from now. I do think this is very expensive even at the lower price but no other choice i guess

I agree that it is expensive, but it's cheaper than what most stores are selling the exact same unit for. 40" TV's just aren't popular anymore, but some people, like myself, can't fit bigger screens in their house. So, this is a good deal considering the competition. Obviously with all sound and vision, it's very subjective, but I've been looking for about 6 months for a new TV with a decent spec, and this is the one for me.

No idea hwo this would be regarding monitor use, but I believe the response time its half decent. Not sure if you would need somthing with a better refresh rate? I'm sure someone will correct me...

Being cheaper than it usually is does not make it a good deal, especially when considering its competition, the same considerably larger model

The only thing that is has going for it is that it's 40", if you only have that space available and you want to spend that much money for such a small size.

Being cheaper than it usually is means it has earned it's right to be out here and made 'hot'. Therefore making it a good deal! Bigger does NOT mean better, the spec is the same regarding the 40" to the 50"... it's what is right for you.
Ideally i would prefer something with more Hz but the only thing that is 4k, bigger than that size and 120hz or more is an Asus monitor which is a BGR setup costs more than 1200k which i refuse to pay for a monitor. If only i had more desk space... This is the only 40inch tv i can find that has decent specs. Actually i cannot find any 40 inch model from 2019 all of them are 43 and above.
