Likely. More and more Panasonics are being outsourced. I put a line through Panasonic when looking for a new TV for front room due to that. Went for an LG in the end (and it's excellent)

Shame really, I’ve had three decent Panasonic’s over the years, but like you, can’t trust the brand any more. Looking for a new tv for a spare room, hoping for a Black Friday bargain, but think I’ll scrub Panasonic from my list too.
