I'm sure there are better players but I'm really pleased with mine. I've not watched all the films but I enjoyed American Made, maybe I'm easily pleased but I vote hot at this price 😁

Neither do most tvs these days, it's a dead technology.

Most tvs dont 2017+, but the projectors do, and there are hundreds of thousands of 3d/4k tv's out there, its far from dead there's still loads of upcoming movies and you can bet 3d without glasses is next, they have the tech, look for it around the same time as the avatar sequels

Bought. Great find.
I got one just before Christmas for a little cheaper from Zoom but great player with my OLED 4K Panasonic TV 📺 and even if you sell the 4K disks for £10 a£12 each it makes it about £60 which is hot for this! Most people could spend another £250 and be hard pushed to get any more from a player

I agree, twin hdmi sold it for me although some will be critical of lack of Dolby vision or hdr10+
Doesn’t do Dolby Vision if that’s your thing.

Good deal, Too bad it doesnt play 3d Blu rays
Have just seen amazon have the Panasonic DP-UB320EBK at £90,I am not worried about the film bundle,so is the Zoom player that much better?

Yeah I have this too and it certainly does the job. I find it a bit loud when playing, how is yours?

I've noticed it noisy on start up. I've not noticed during a film but its in a cabinet so maybe that's why

Apparently, this does support 3d
Great deal and it upscales your existing Blu Ray collection (if you have one) - thanks for posting this just ordered
Just wondering? Does it play dvds or usb sticks? & has Netflix or online like older bluray played?
Does this do anything that an Xbox One S can’t? I’ve recently bought a 4K screen and am looking into getting something to play uhd discs on, but thinking spending a bit more would get me all that this can do plus a game console included?
I seen this posted before at £129 with film package and bought at Xmas. Wouldn't let me use code, as not for packages. Amazing deal if able to use code. I can add my HDD and play any movie through it with great quality. Don't have screen, but can live with that for playing movies. STEAL!

Well I've played 3D blurays on this...! also lists 3D supported on website, bad information
Great deal, heat added. Would have bought it if it have dolby vision
Bought this. Have since sold it. Unless your tv is massive (60+) then don't waste your money on 4K
So just to clarify, this player will be better than the one in the Xbox one S +?

I have the same question, I'm thinking Xbox one could be better because, for example with Netflix, it can bitstream Dolby Atmos to the receiver. But it's pricer too.

I wouldn't bother personally if your main reason is for wanting to play 4k films. There are often audio sync issues, discs that won't load, jerky playback. I have an xbox one x and I'm looking for a separate 4k player now because od this.

even better deal then
Man, keep waiting on a deal on one with Dolby Vision. Comparing standard HDR to DV, the latter I find is a greater benefit than going from 1080p to 4k.
Good 4K player however USB audio playback support is very limited. So much so I returned mine. This issue is not related to just this model it's the whole Panasonic range.

Cold for me then!
Any good deals on native 4k players ?

My main reason would be to use it with Netflix and Amazon video. Does it work well for that?

Not really, no. However, if you don’t actively want a games machine, then navigating a disc menu with an Xbox pad can be a bit odd.
Also a player like this will sit happily in a closed cabinet - an Xbox one would probably burst into flames

Totally agree. Got an LG OLED last week and was more impressed with DV and HLG than the jump in resolution.
I agree with modelman Panasonic make good kit but are very poor with updates. Now Samsung you can throw most file formats at their kit and it will play it as they have regular updates to keep their products cur
Save your money buy a console which already has a blu ray player..and it plays games too.

Just to clarify:
- Xbox One supports UHD (4K) discs;
- latest PS4 Pro supports only BluRay discs which are not as good as UHD 👌

Yawn, so dead that they keep producing 3d blu rays and you can still buy 3d projectors. There's a difference between non-mainstream and dead.

I have been thinking about buying one of these has anyone de regioned the dvd region code on this model.
on the list for the remote sold on ebay this model is not listed but i know most panasonic players can be done, i would just like to know someone that has managed it.
Why not buy an Xbox? Is it’s 4K worse?

Xbox One has it all.
The only game console with UHD (4K) discs support.
