huh?

Great, I'm getting two, as I always listen to that lisping monkey.

Top tip for the very rich: don't criticise the poor.

Anybody know the model number for this? Is it the tx l50b6b?

Personal preference. You maybe happy with looking at a 32 inch or thereabouts across your lounge. I sit 9 feet away from my 50 inch and it's lovely to not have to wear my glasses (I'm short sighted) when watching the TV. If I move to a bigger property and finances permit, I'll probably buy a 60 or 65 inch.

my neighbour has a 50 inch tv in his lounge which is 16ftx10ft it looks silly and he views it from 6 feet away

Indeed. People have different requirements and personally I'm perfectly happy with this! Is that allowed?

good deal but after owning a panasonic plasma going to any led tv would be downgrading in my eyes

Delivery in 2 to 4 weeks!!

This is a pretty nice set from what I've seen of it. Picture quality made me do a double-take at the price when I saw it in JL. Nice black levels and colours were very good. Don't know if it was the settings but it looked a lot more natural and plasma-like than the other LCDs on show. £20 less here than it was at JL but obviously without the 5 year warranty, so a decent price on an already good-value TV. so what you saying is that too big or too small for your neighbours room?

50" is just right in my living room given that I sit 15ft from it. you're neighbour might live in a small house but we don't all live in a shoe box

yes to big and he sits to near the tv as he,s always complaining of headaches after watching tv told him to move further away as it was most prob the reason he was having headaches when watching the 50inch 6feet away,
his tv dominates his room ,another neighbour has a 42 inch and it looks just right for the size room

Only if you live in a modern house post 1990's with a shoebox for a living room.

Proper minimum viewing distance is about 9ft for a 50inch TV.
