With respect, wouldn't it just be quicker to click the "Get Deal" button? It takes you directly to the page with ALL the info you need to know and more. Far quicker than waiting and hoping for a response here

Anyway, I think this is the info you asked for

"Refresh Rate Information 60Hz (Backlight Motion Rate: 1600)"

I think he meant input lag response time for gaming.
What we need is someone that could post a detailed review....
Input lag shows are 21ms in game mode, once calibrated

Let's hope the 55 version of the 750 also drops around £700 mark...

Also they have VA panels so the viewing angle isn’t as good as IPS, so if you’re planning to have seating that doesn’t look directly at it I wouldn’t recommend it. Didn’t realise when I bought my 50DX700B. Nice picture if that isn’t an issue though and great price.
Great TV, had a samsung mu6400 49 (IPS panel) which had awful clouding and sidelight issues and exchanged it for this. Paid £469 near christmas

Why even reply? It was just a simple question because it's not on the specs page and I couldn't find it on Google either. Honestly it says a lot about a person who posts these kind of comments... sad.

I had the 58" and yes the angles are very tight before it looses colour, absolutely cracking picture tho , unfortunately mine went back due to bad clouding

I was helping you with your question and future questions you may have. I find you rude you asked a question without a please or thank you and yesterday when you asked a question on another TV, someonekindly answered your question and you didn't even acknowledge their answer. RUDE AND LAZY.

When you say bad clouding... I have the DX750 ...its great apart from watching football you can see patches of light on the screen on panning shots. Is that what you mean?

Can get it for 850 and that is around the figure we been looking to weigh for a new bedroom telly, so am pondering that option now.

Seems to have rather mixed reviews though and I been wanting either the QE55Q7 or Q8 for so long holding fire watching the price drop I'd be gutted to buy this Pana to see the Q7 drop to the £999 mark in a few weeks time

You might not be lazy, but you are pretty rude yourself. Simplicity and clarity isn't rudeness, and there is little point in spamming a thread with platitudes. The information ISN'T on the page, and not even that straight forward to find in many cases and has multiple variables that mean it's easier to just ASK. You need to get over yourself a little and if you are in a bad mood just don't reply, it's not your job to police the comments section for manners.

It really is easy to find lol it was in the first search result in Google. I'm not in a bad mood far from it. I just can't stand bad manners.

It was clouding from the backlight, it looked like patches of fog , this is a picture of the backlight on low setting, patches of light while panning will be banding or dirty screen effect

I don't know what search term you're using, but I'm not seeing it.

"50EX700 response time" brings up the DisplaySpecifications page which doesn't have it.

"EX700 Response Time" bring up the flatpanelsHD review which does cover it, but only with the rather broad comments that ' EX700 is not worse (or better) than most other VA-type LCD panels' and that 'EX700 suffers from some overdrive trailing, mostly visibly in high-contrast transitions (ie white to black), thus mostly visibly in games such as Limbo or Inside, but it is not a major concern'.

Finding some actual measurements is quite a bit harder. HDTV Polska has some images with BFI on and off that are slightly more useful:

What is rude and what is not is Subjective. i didnt find it rude. If i challenged every person who didnt say please or thank you, blimey id be in hospital or prison!

Do you challenge ppl everyday on a face to face basis about manners? Or is it only behind a screen?

Let it go mate, just let it go. lifes too short.

Your right it is subjective. I found it rude. It's a bugbear. Manners cost nothing.
I wouldn't say everyday, but yes have challenged people o face to face, I much prefer that.
I let it go after my initial comment, but others got involved lol

Well I was discussing another tv on this site a while ago & somebody has a completely different opinion to yourself. Moving on the legendary Panasonic viera GT30 in favour of a modern LCD without any regrets at all.

If you want plasma quality today it has to be OLED which is considerably more expensive. Most standard LCD's have failings. My local barber bought a LCD set took it home tried it and pretty much went straight back in the box and got a refund and put the plasma back in place. My mother's Panasonic plasma still gives a far better picture for SD than my LCD set. She has screen-burn on the bottom of the screen though which would irritate me but apart from that the picture is amazing and if she didn't leave it on sky news all the time wouldn't have that problem. It's had about 9 years of solid use, she pretty much gets up and turns it on as she is retired and turns it off before going to bed some days.
Pity Oled so expensive will it ever be around £600
I'm one of those with an old Plasma. Unfortunately it died yesterday. It's been a fab unit, just can't get close to the quality for the money in today's market. But I need something, I just don't have that much conversation in me I'm afraid.

Does anyone know if this is a vestel and whether it's proper HDR ... Please?

It does depend on what and where you're watching. A modern top of the range LCD with HDR content is amazing and Plasma can't compare. But for normal SD/HD TV watching, especially in a darkened room, plasma is still very strong.
LOUGHBORO.GUY25 m ago

Oh yes. It's currently only produced in tiny numbers next to LCD. Once production is refined and scaled up there's no reason why it couldn't be cheaper than LCD - it's got fewer parts to it. How the prices drop depend on demand, competing technologies and so on, but if a £600 OLED doesn't happen within 5 years it's likely focus has shifted to a different self-emitting display technology.

'Proper HDR' is a difficult question because dynamic range is a, well, a range and the full size of that range is set well beyond what any current TV is capable of.

In HDR terms this does have a wider colour gamut than SDR but little increase in contrast/brightness range.

This is a Panasonic model.
