Well reviewed picture quality.
Bargain great line of tvs much better than Samsung
Only issue I worry with these is the edge lit tech - Surly that would fade / bleed over continued use...

Depends which model.

Talking like for like led tvs

Which ones. Give some examples in the same price range.
I wonder if this is the best 49/50 inch tv under £700. I've been looking a lot in the last few weeks and I like the specs of the Philips 7300 series but am a tad worried about reliability. I'd like to splash out for the Sony KD49XG9005BU or Samsung 49Q70r series but don't think they will come down to my £700 budget. And the Q60r reviews don't seem to be as good as this Panasonic. I think I'd want to go with a shop that offers a 5 year warranty though. Anyone got any advice?
A few reports of of the screen fading badly at only slight viewing angles...

There seems to be a few already on ebay panasonic refurb site strange as they have not been out that long...

guessing returned units...

You are still lucky..I can't go above 40"..so i am a bit tied to buy this panasonic...Nobody else is doing 40"this year..Just last years models from Samsung NU7100 series..but I don't know much about them.
I saw the Panasonic GX800 at 40" and the viewing angles are brilliant..But I think on the bigger sizes imagenwill suffer if you dont look straight at them, also the bleeding white image of leds intervene...

This isn't a comparison with a Samsung model, this is a review of a Panasonic model. Which are you comparing it to?
Fantastic tv! Got one last month!

Whatever you get, I would advise you to get it from either John Lewis (5 years warranty), or Richer Sounds (6 years warranty)
How is the viewing angle on this? Some customer reviews say its bad but most give 5/5 and dont mention it...

The guy in richer sounds says it better than most and I have to say it did look better than most in the shop. Weird though as viewing angles are generally seen as a weakness in online reviews
