Found this at very for £499 reduced from £999 could be even cheaper if you use discount codes and 9% quidco also could bring the price down even more.
Now i know some people dont like LITTLEWOODS group but you dont have to use the discount codes if you dont like them. Still a cheap tv for £499.
I cant find it cheaper anywhere else.

Cheap price but not anti-reflection lets it down

it's a panasonic my 1st 37" viera cost £2400.:w00t: and it's still going strong almost 7 1/2 years later.

Thanks a lot for this, I've just ordered one using XX182 - 10% - On Everything & XX937 - Buy Now Pay February 2011. £455 and 9% quidco at the minute. Possibly £414.05 for a 50" Panasonic plasma is a brilliant price in my opinion.

Not full HD and could have done with more than 2 HDMI's but for the price difference I will definately live with it.

Cheers OP, Heat and rep added.

BLIMEY!!

does it have PC input?

BLIMEY!!

falt screens were well expensive few years ago...a 50in would cost >£6000

I bought this model a few months ago for 499 at Currys, and we absolutely love it. Definitely worth it at that price, and if you can get it cheaper with codes, all the better! The picture is so beautiful, and the sound isn't bad, either. No pc input, though. The reflection isn't a problem at all. Fine to watch in the day or night. We have one lamp that does reflect on the screen from my angle (but not from where my husband sits). We shut that lamp off, and problem solved! Sitting in front of it when it's turned off does almost look like a mirror, though, but who cares? lol

For those of you moaning that this doesn't have an anti-reflective coating perhaps you should check with Panasonic whether ANY of their Plasma sets do. (Hint when I talked to them 2 months ago they said that they don't!)

For those of you moaning that this isn't "Full HD" perhaps you should read a little more and try to work out whether you will ever benefit from that extra resolution (which is unused by ANY UK HD source, apart from PC games). A good (but older) article, based on good research is ]here

FWIW, this is a pretty good entry level Panasonic plasma at an excellent price. It'll arguably produce considerably better pictures than anything else in this price range.

HOT!

Fantastic price with codes, a lot of TV for the money

1080p is limited anyway, mainly Blu Ray,PS3. I'm certain Sky, Xbox are 720p.

Superman vision is required to notice diffrence unless you are looking closely!

Yes, the newer version of this tv does have an anti-reflective screen. Think the model is an X10. Information on it is readily available (it was out there a few months ago when I purchased my C10, so you can find it easily enough with Google). Whoever you spoke to two months ago probably didn't know what they were talking about or else just wanted you to buy the older model to clear it out. However, I must say I am extremely happy with my model that does not have the AR screen nor the full hd.

What do you mean by this:

"but you dont have to use the discount codes if you dont like them"

why would anyone NOT use the discount codes if it saves them money?

Because Littlewoods has a tendancy down the line to charge you the original full price. I've personally never used Littlewoods, but have heard people complaining about that.

Some people dont like the LITTLEWOODS group discount codes because in the past littlewoods have taken back the discount if the code was not issued to you. This has never happened to me.
