+MELTING HOT :-)

Brilliant spec TV for under £500, got a few of the same model in the hukd tesco rush last october @324 and not one has had any issues, in anyway!

If you want a decent 50", branded LED, get it, before they put them up!

bargain though bet they've all gone now?

was recently about £520 at very recently but think it's now out of stock.. possibly snapped up at the price!

Which model is it. The bl6 oe e6

Was if definitely newtownards as have never seen tvs there before?

£999 was overpriced for this tv anyway ... but £499 is a great price ..would normally be around the £750 price . HOT

Still had them in the new B&M store at the Glasgow Forge retail park.

B&M sell TVs?!?!?!?

Pretty sure this was the price in Belper last week too.

B&M sell TVs?!?!?!?

Some of the larger stores stock quite a few different models, my local in shrewsbury stock Panasonic, goodmans and blaupunkt models of various sizes etc....

i had to take my daughter to the staff toilet in belper store and there was around 12 of these stacked up in the corridor

This TV has been this price for a while till they put it up only to enable them to reduce it.
B&M are just another outlet who buy mass stock clearance and discontinued stock and sell on as an out of town store.
No different to the pound shops and the QD's and QS stores in town. Oh and Wilkinson's.
80 - 90% rubbish and the odd good make

What you say may well be true. But it has absolutely nothing to do with this TV.

hey, is this the bl6b or e6b? If its e6b then thats a super deal!

I'll be calling my local b&m and ask if they have any stock

Meh - it was this price in John Lewis last year - although to be fair I can't find it cheaper currently :

I would probably snap this up if I didn't already have a TV...

It was not in there two weeks ago that I noticed, the only 50" models I seen was a goodmans 1080p led or a Panasonic 720p plasma both priced at £399. All the other tv's where 32" or less and were branded blaupunkt. They may well have got some in since then but it is a 40 mile round trip for me. Asda are doing a good deal on a 47" lg led @399 direct.asda.com/LG-…tml no good to me as being home delivery they would automatically give my name to tv licensing, I'm with Noël Edmonds don't give them a penny, but if you are still easily fooled into buying a TV licence then this is a ok buy.
My best buy last year was a blaupunkt 42" 1080p backlit led 3d with 4x glasses @£279 from sainsburys, it is the best display I have seen when connected to a Xbox 360 and ps4, beats my toshiba and all of my friends Panasonic displays etc....

oooo thats a good price! Will leave a trip to B&M shrewsbury for another time then...

Picked one up in the Connswater/Newtownards Road store this morning. It's definitely the TX-L50BL6B model. Manager said he has 8 or 9 left and none of the smaller stores will have them.

Thanks OP.

Oh I got it confused with another model. this one is 50hz no smart no 3d and two HDMI correct?
If so its not very good at all, I swear it was 450 last year too.

It's 100hz, LED and smart.

I'm afraid it isn't:

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/1061684.htm#pdpFullProductInformation

Argos selling at the same price, also 50hz so a bit of a blur fest

oh my mistake missed out the L in the model number, googling it doesn't find many results and no reviews to think of. odd. Not even mentioned over at av forums

psybear

It's 100hz, LED and smart.

It's 50 hz and LED relates to the type of back lighting the screen is LCD.

May have been £999 the day it was launched, not or never been that for a long long time. So the saving not as great as seems been around this price for a while. Having said that a good price. Heat.

can anyone find a single review on this?

Hi, thankyou, just been to B&M at glasgow Forge and got one, they still have some left. Does anyone know what size of bolt is required for the tv to put it up on the wall. Thanks.

Voted hot, simply because, in the email, it looked like the picture said "bum".

Sometimes pictures help.

Then John Lewis had the wrong info on their site.

Maybe you are looking at a different model - I can't find this one on the John Lewis site. I suspect the reason that there are very little reviews (other than user reviews) online for this particular model is that it is a "UK & Ireland model" - and it has both Freeview HD and Saorview HD (Irish equivalent) built-in.

I was in the market for a 50" full HD TV - I wanted Sony or Panasonic, I wanted 100hz, I wanted SMART features and most definitely did not want the passing gimmick that is 3D. This fits the bill perfectly and is less than £500. I'm very happy with it.

people are missing the extra L, its bl6b at b&m not b6b, when googling only a couple of websites show up. It looks like some foreign model number that no one but b&m stock anymore, likely why there are no reviews or forum posts about it anywhere, so who knows if its a good set or not.

Thanks to poster just got one at conswater store belfast. They had 3 left after i got mine. Very pleased with mine so far. Updated software already. Ive gone from 37 sharp aquos to this, loving it so far but early days.have some heat
