Quite a misleading picture - batteries are NOT included.

7dayshop are still doing the 4 eneloop and charger for £8.49, would it be better to get 4 batteries on there own for £6.99 and then buy this charger?. I havent tried these kind of batteries yet so would appreciate the advice before i order

Where does it say a built in safety timer? Does that mean it will turn itself off after 8hours (and even if it is unplugged during the charge)?

Edit: Just googled it and does have overcharge protection - Thanks.

heat added, but just wish it charged more than 2 aaas at a time...

can anyone confirm if this does have a safety timer, def will buy if it does

This one is destined as a spare, be kind to your batteries and buy this one , Model BQ-392 , instead for £10 more also from 7dayshop as it is :" these chargers will automatically recognise the remaining capacity and only charge the required amount." http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/images/products/prod_102894.jpg

Another great thing is that you can just charge one battery rather than in pairs. if you something like more than £40 worth of rechargeable the advanced featured one will be far superior than a basic one for a few quid.
Other features:
Lightweight 110g
1 to 2 AAA's can be charged at once
1 to 4 AA's can be charged at once
Charge times of usually between 3-6 hours
Ultra-Safe
Dimensions: 27x68x117mm

are these batteries any good for cameras?

What batteries?

Slow chargers don't need timers. You're just advised not to leave them charging for more than 24 hours at a time.

sorry if this sounds dim,but what if you have 2700mah batteries, does it not charge them fully,or it just takes longer?

I expect the timer will run for long enough to charge them fully. And they're probably not 2700mAh anyway - manufacturers are rather "creative" in the use of that figure.

after looking around i decided to get 4x duracell supreme AA 2650mah for £5.40 as these seem to be the highest rated batterries. also bought the 600lcd charger from 7day shop with 4 2500mah batterries £10.99.
the batterries i have are uniross performance 2700mah i think they are good

Great deal, have ordered. Hadn't heard of 7dayshop prior to this deal, seems like they have some decent deals on with free delivery. Thanks.
