I have a set of these and they're pretty good in my opinion.

I bought the twin pack for the same price from John Lewis about a month ago .....this is a great price - excellent phones. Crystal clear, nice to hold, no gimmicks....quality.

Great.

The Phillips trio that we currently own have just died today :x , so I've ordered these.

Many thanks OP:thumbsup:

Me too and I agree that they're good quality. I bought my triple-pack a year ago when they were on special offer at Argos for, I seem to remember, the same price. A bargain at £49.95.

Thanks for the comments guys

You may probably get 6% Quidco too...

Forget that!!!! I must be blind

Right, here's a very random question.

I'm getting my parents a Wii and a new monitor for Christmas, which is going to cost £450 or maybe even more.

They need some new phones too, the ones we've got atm are pretty naff, Southwestern Bell or something.

So! Should I get these or not? My heart says yes, but my head (wallet :P) says no, heh.

Not unless you've more money than sense!!!

Great deal. Was looking about a week ago as one of my Philips handsets died leaving just one, which is a pain in the rear. Debated paying £15 for new battery on a 4 year old phone, but this deal now means i have 3 handsets which is a bonus and Panasonic are reputed to be the best. Voted hot as i did look at Amazon prices for triples and it was pushing on £80-£100 for good quality phones :-)

I have the 4 phone set (I think the slightly earlier model the Panasonic kxtg 7124 ) which I bought about a year ago on a half price deal (from Comet if I recall) for around £65. They are excellent and I recommend them highly. One particular feature is that you can send your saved phone book from 1 phone to the others in the set (ie you don't have to update each individually). Voted hot...

If you have subscribe to caller display then yes it will. I've had an earlier model for about 6 years and still going strong!

As "Rizza" said, YES. I've got the earlier model (KXTG7123ES) and was interested to see a comment from a review on Amazon which said:

I went to the local Comet shop where I could compare the KX-TG7124 model (with 4 handset: but otherwise identical to the KX-TG7123) or else the newer KX-TG223ES with 3 handsets.
I could not quite identify any significant technical difference between the newer 7223 and the older 7123, but I immediately noticed that the newer7223 has extremely poor stability: a minimal shake would knock the handset off the basic unit or charger ! On the contrary the older KX-TG7123 could be shaken vigorously without falling off. I went back home an order the older but more stable 7123 from an online retailer, where it is still available.

Thanks ordered coming on the 8th voted hot rep left for ppeople that helped

Remember not to pay for this service but get Caller ID display free as part of the BT Privacy package....

productsandservices.bt.com/con…acy

I enquired about caller ID display a fortnight ago & was told it would cost me about six quid a month....they made no mention of the above free scheme!

bought these from argos when on offer about 9 - 10 months ago and cannot reccomend them enough - the best quality phones weve bought (and weve had quite a few) - you would be daft to miss out on this offer i can assure you :whistling:

Great spot,heat added.

Could any of the owners of these phones confirm that when a answerphone message has been left does the handset have a flashing LED to let you know.I know the base flashes but does the handset flash.
Thnaks in advance,Jono.

Quidco says it's up to 7%.

A good price for a great product, I've ordered one.

Ta.

:-( ...Don.t take visa electron... ....Thanks any way

My mam's been hinting at getting a phone for chritmas... A pack of 3 means it will do for my dad and little brother as well!

Or is that being a cheapskate?!? Heheh

Thanks voted hot and ordered  , now saying out of stock so clicked expired.

Already got a new phone after replacing it with a old faulty colour panasonic phone , but i want to go back to Pansonic as the new phone i brought is really rubbish compared to my old panasonic one , i admit i think i paid about £90 for just one Panasonic phone so to get 3 for this price is a bargain....not same model but just hope its as good.

Can anybody who has these tell me how high the volume can go please? So far all the phones we have we can't get the volume up high enough.

Please pardon my thickness, but should the 2nd and 3rd base units be plugged into a phone socket?
Not sure what DECT means yet so I'm off Googling it.

Cheers!

Nope just the first one needs to be in the phone. The others just need power points for the chargers base units.

DECT is Digital Electronic Cordless Telephone.

You will of course have to spend more than the £49.95 the phone costs to get the discount.

The three-pack without the answerphone KXTG7203ES is GBP 44.95 using the same promotional code(s). Just ordered one - plenty in stock as I type.

Personally I'd prefer this one as it is a fiver cheaper, and not having an answerphone is better for me (I hate the things!).

Thanks WileyCat...

Now to wait for stock!!!

Just thought I'd add something to this thread.

If you're interested in buying a DECT set like this, be aware that the base station (and therefore the individual handsets) will NOT connect to your phone network in a power cut. It's therefore advised that you also always have a "normal" phone connected (or at least able to be connected) to your phone line.

I must have been lucky, checked the page at 9:35pm and there were 2 in stock. As I was about to buy mine it dropped to 1  needless to say I finished my order asap.

My thanks to the op, have been looking for a decent set of DECT phones to replace my ageing BT diverse 2000 bought many years ago.
