Good buy since you get £120 of software with it.

The Panasonic GH1 is the best buy at the moment if you can afford £750 as the 14-140mm lens is worth £680 on its own!

Still buy the G10 to see if you like the small size D-SLR and then flog it on ebay once you have the free software and then get the GH1.

HotBot, I'm sure you're right, but you could buy two G10's for the price of one GH1 and both have similar still photo quality. Unless you're desperate for full HD or the greater telephoto range, I'd go for the G10.

PS. Just been having a little look on Ebay for what new, sealed copies of Photoshop Element 9 & Premiere Elements 9 are going for and it is currently around £80 to £100. That means if you don't want the software and you take the lowest figure and deduct selling costs, you are still looking at at least £70, so the camera effectively costs just £250, which is pretty amazing for a camera of this quality, IMO.

Sorry, 3005 code expired last week, so best price now is Currys: £339.99, but use code SAVE5 to get for £322.99 (also Quidco/TopCashBack will give you a further £10 off, or so).

Hope this helps.
