Awesome deal!

What are the chances that Amazon will price match?

Can't decide between this one and the Amazon TZ7... :-(

Don't you have to pay a subscription to Costco though? That should be factored in.

Only if you have to buy the subscription in order to buy the camera.

Which Costco did you see this in? I went to my local one in Bristol this evening and they dont have it there, the girl on the desk also searched on the computer to no avail

Also available here for £299 with 2 years warranty: ukdigitalcameras.co.uk/__4…tml

I'm not sure which one to go for. Tempted to go with Costco because if I don't like it then at least I can return it within 90 days which seems more valuable to me than having 2 years warranty but being stuck with the camera if I don't like it.

Watford Costco in their main camera display. I should have taken a picture of the sku.

BTW, it was in stock. I played with the demo model.

Anyone know if Costco sell any accessories for the TZ10 e.g. official camera case, spare battery etc.

Costco doesn't sell any accessories to cameras.

You have to pay the subscription to get through the doors -does that not count?

Whats Costco's warranty on Cameras???

The only regret we have in getting the TZ10 is that the pre-order price of £315 started to drop and drop after release. Might be worth waiting a few more days to see if it drops more - don't know.

However, my wife's previous camera was a 10MP camera and she didn't want the same, so I ordered her a TZ10.

Really depends on the price difference between the 2 models, but as the TZ10 is now sub-£300, unless you get a really good deal on the TZ7, I'd go for the 10.

Whats wrong with 10mp's ? It's all about the sensor.

It's about a lot of things including optical zoom, but ultimately if your previous camera was fairly high spec, then you want a greater difference between your previous and your next.

You also generally pay for internet subscriptions at home to read these pages and have to spend money to use a car or public transport to get to shops. For users here who are members of CostCo it's a good deal.

I've now purchased the TZ10 from Costco and have to say the camera is so much better than my previous one. The quality of the screen is ultra sharp and the image quality is superb.

Hi

Can you confirm if the Costco warranty is 2 years on the unit and if you have to keep turning the GPS off everytime yo switch the camera on as the default setting is ON?

What was your old camera?

Thanks
