Just found that myself as I'm looking for something to take over from my broken PS3. (I realised I use my PS3 for everything but gaming).

I've ended up wanting the Samsung BD C6500 as it's £150 at Comet (when in stock).

That baby seems to do everything the PS3 does without a hideously noisy fan.

Good deal for a basic player though, and voted hot.

These were £79 or less at HMV earlier this year.

A poor budget player. Best avoided.

I got this free with my tv from curry's not that long ago, wouldn't call it poor by any means, it does a job reasonably well obviously can't compete with the expensive units of course

I bought the bd35 when it first came out and it won loads of awards have dud this model take a step back or have things got a lot better!?

Plus I paid 229 for it amazing how blu ray players have plummeted in price

I would rather pay a £5 more and have one that support mkv

amazon.co.uk/dp/…HVI

I got the bd390 and it plays lots of stuff this is a newer model

No BD Live 2.0 support i.e. No Ethernet port. Not a deal breaker but worth noting.

how do you claim the free gift?
