Thanks, I did notice this after posted this deal.

Not really a comment on this deal but if you want cheaper pre-charged batteries there are also ones in Lidl at the moment:

Obviously it's a different beast to Eneloop.

Good spot, Musicinme_pro but I would second Nanuek's comment. While these batteries last for up to 2100 charges they're nearly 3 times the price of Lidl's up to 1000 charges so still a little more expensive. Even more so when you factor in the 1900mAh and 2300mAh difference as well.

Are the Fujitsu batteries the same as Eneloop ones? From what I can tell, When Sanyo were bought by Panasonic, due to anti-competitive laws, the Factory that made them Eneloop batteries were sold to Fujitsu...They are slightly cheaper so if they are the same batteries then Fujitsu's seem to be the better option.

Apparently Ikea's LADDA batteries are re-branded Eneloop's acoording to forum chatter (they're all made in Japan) Their 2450mah batteries are only £5.50 per 4 pack and their 1000mah batteries are only £2.75 per 4 pack.
