Best price i could find for this top end electric shaver. More than £40 cheaper than anywhere else.

The only difference between this (6Q) and the very top end 9Q is that it doesn't come with a cleaning station, which isn't necessary at all with the Panasonic as they are so easy to clean without one (unlike the Braun equivalent, where the cleaning station is highly recommended as it's so difficult to thoroughly clean without one)

Have one, very good whilst new, but blades wearing off pretty quickly and after 7 months looks like it need new blades. Cost - £50. Lucky me didn't trashed my old Baun 7 series, which after 4 years of daily use still runs fine on old blades, which never been changed.
Did you do the recommended clean and oil after each use?
Of course I did as always do with all foil shavers, as these love oil But that didn't help for Panasonic at all; now it misses hair and shaving gets poorer every month. Back to my old Braun, which now is better with 4 year old blade and does shaving faster a lot than Panasonic.

I have the previous generation high end model, LV65 great shaver but yeah as you said the blades wear off in 6-7 months and need replacement which costs £45..still a fantastic shaver.
definitely closer shave than Braun 7 series imo and never cuts the skin (Braun sometimes does).

I had Braun series 7 and now Panasonic LV65 (been 1.5 years),Panasonic shaves better, faster and closer to skin than Braun and never cuts skin but it's too loud and their baldes wear off in 6-7 months,Braun on the other hand, had much longer lasting blades and was quieter but never shaved as close as Panasonic.

Panasonic shaves closer a bit but only whilst new. Braun 7 series shaves same after 4 years with same blade. I am staying with Baun, as not fancy changing Panasonic blades every 7 months for £50.
I have had this shaver since release in Japan. Still on the first set of blades and a drop of shaving oil works wonders on those blades. Yes my old LV-93 lasted much longer with a set of blades but I still see no difference in the shave since I have started using it. I have the cleaning station as well which I have yet to unpack.

This thing shaves better than any Braun or Philips could hence my thumbs up.

If you travel a lot, buy the travel shaver which has a fixed head and is a bit smaller and lighter. Great combo!

Utter lies or you have very thin beard and using it few times a week.
Bought this for my father for Christmas and as of today it is totally useless and requires new shaving head.
Please don’t insult people calling them a liar. I have had my shaver (just checked) since 18. October 2018 purchased in Japan. And the thing shaves like the first day it was purchased with the original first blades. I shave every second day and I have stubborn beard hairs. I put oil on my blades once every 2 weeks. All I can say is maybe the Japanese shavers have better or different blades in the LV9CX but don’t call me a lair please. I have just stated my experience and most people use any oil and wonder why blades go dull. Check out every good barber how much oil they use on their Wahl every few hours.

I have the LV65 for about 3 years and upgraded to this foil with the gold rollers as it is compatible . I have a fairly course beard and had no issues with the blades wearing out. They last well over a year or more. I am only on my second set or replacements. The thing you need to do is give them a good clean. I find as you cant get to the outside cutters they get clogged then a good soak in very hot water and some cillit bang cleans them up. I find after a clean the shave is really improved. I also use a preshave oil which might help. Its only the inside cutters that you can rinse easily and it needs some household cleaner and a quick soak once a week. You might find your replacing the cutters because the outer ones are gunked up not blunt.
Funny how people are voting it cold because they prefer to buy £20 shavers or Gillettes. The point is, if you are after this particular shaver, you're not gonna find it cheaper anywhere else, hence a good deal

Even if you after this particular shaver, +£15 for membership, so total £154.99 and that's not such a big save. I bought one for £129.95 this spring , but as said earlier - will not even look at Panasonic shavers, as worst ever shaver buy. Panasonic might be good at making TV's or Technics audio systems in 80-90's but not shavers.

totally disagree, had Braun, Phillips and Panasonic they are for me the best ever shaver I have had. One of the best makes of electric shavers out there.

Well, the temperature of this "deal" tells all...
actually hardly any of the electric shaver deals get voted hot. People see over £100 and dont realise that in the long run its cheaper than a blade.

Not true. How about this deal: Braun and many others.
