chances are the Amazon price might drop to £28.50 as it's the same seller. If that happens Amazon are normally quite good about refunding the difference.

keep your eye on the Amazon price.

keep your eye on the Amazon price.

Will do... Upto £55.47 atm lol

Not too bothered £32 still a fair price.
£3.37 cheaper to what i paid isn't enough to seriously p*** me off....... i'll just be happy if its a good shaver.
Doubt Amazon would refund the difference if they did drop the price, as the shaver wasn't sold by them originally and was sold by SE. But worth asking i spose.

I've been really lucky with Amazon with regards price refunds, if it happens I'll post back here. I don't think it will now as the price has gone up not down. But like you say Jeff, I'll be happy if it turns out to be a cracking shaver for £31.87 fingers crossed.
Shaver turned up sometime today while i was out...... and was left on the bench outside my front door, in full view of anyone walking past my house ! Typical of Yodel, the most useless incompetent courier going.
Anyway, the shaver looks damn cool and its really compact, sorta halfway between a home and travel shaver . Made in Japan, unlike the Chinese made Braun's these days. Zero power in the battery, so its now on charge.
Had a wet shave last night, so i'll be trying out this Panny shaver later tonight.

I had a £60 pair of Adidas I'd ordered from Zalando go missing with Yodel, they even said that I'd signed for them the Dirty scumbags. Got the money back from Zalando in the end.

Mine hasn't been delivered yet, but I like the sound of it, compact. I'll probably stick it in the case and use it as a travel shaver.

Mine came this afternoon, just gave me a nice close shave. Very pleased with it, it says the charge can last upto 2 weeks.

Yes, had a shave earlier and i'm also pretty happy with it. I was skeptical about these linear motor Panasonic shavers in the past, but i'm pleased to be proved wrong about that.
Compared to the Braun i have, you can definitely tell the difference with the faster motor and the far sharper designed blades of the Panny. Still having some probs getting all the whiskers in the neck area and have to go over this area quite a bit, but its still better than the Braun at this. Its also quieter than the Braun.
Absolutely no razor burn or any irritation at all..... problems that all rotary shavers have given me.

I rate it well.... and i'll be keeping it.

Dont normally do EDT, but i may give it a go, seeing as it aint that expensive.
Still find it hard to fathom why this shaver isn't on the hot pages yet.
Original Poster
I used the razor earlier, I have the same problem as you with the difficult neck hair, managed to get it all with a few passes. Verdict, a nice close shave, very happy. Yeah give that EDT a try, you can't go wrong with it at this price.

I thought it was a definite for the hot list, maybe I'd put xbox in the title, it would've gone solar flair lol.
I bought this from SSE and it arrived today.

Be aware, there is only a 2 pin pug on it. Kind of pointless for me, because I do NOT have an adapter!

Doesn't mention anywhere in the site that would will need to get an adapter to use this thing. So annoyed.

UK 3 pin plug or 2 pin like my pic above?
Original Poster
That's not a 2 pin European type plug on the shaver cord, it's a 2 pin shaver plug. All electric shavers come like that as standard, you won't find a British standard 3 pin plug wall socket in a bathroom, but you could find 2 pin shaver wall socket.
Still a pain. Can't use it now until I get an adapter
Original Poster
You would of had the same problem if it was a rechargeable toothbrush. I'm surprised your so **** off, it's common knowledge that you need an adapter unless you have a 2 pin electrical wall socket in your bathroom, for charging electric shavers and toothbrushes. I'll give you a top tip, If you go to Europe on holiday, don't try to plug this in anywhere other than the shaver point in your hotel bathroom, because it won't fit.

Jeeze..... ALL shavers come with a 2 pin plug and they always have done for decades.
Buy an adapter from the poundshop, or Wilko's, or supermarkets, or any number of cheapy shops.

If you ever buy any electrical goods from this place pixmania.co.uk/ind…s=1 Don't try to plug them in using a shaving adapter, you'll be really annoyed and upset at the outcome.

Well if you dont know anything about electric shavers, its only your ignorance you should be annoyed about...... not the shaver.

What if I commented on this post in the same way, would you think I was an idiot?

This pan set was delivered today, but I don't have any food in the house and I don't even own a cooker, so I'm really disappointed and annoyed about this purchase
Good to see buyers returning to the thread, thought I must pop in and leave some feedback for anyone considering this shaver.
Yodel... Meh. At least they left mine with next door although took 3 days to get hold of him.

Anyway nice light unit full charge in under an hour and honestly a shave as close as a blade, a light touch gave me a great shave with 4 day growth. As mentioned above a few angle changes for the neck area but that's to be expected I think. Very few passes needed and no burn which is great news as I usually suffer with that. All in all very pleased and would recommend as a great purchase.
Got the shaver today.
Point to note if you're thinking of buying one:
If your expecting a mid to high end shaver then this is not it. Feels light and cheep. No movement of the head to contour your face.
Shave is quite close but leave face red.
Battery not user changeable and only meant to last 3 years.
Overall - Wish I had not bothered.
BTW I have a old Panasonic and of late a 4 year old Braun series 7 - Both excellent shavers.

Wow...Interesting, sorry to here that, not sure what ppl are expecting for £30 but I am pleased with the shaver. I have always been happy to move my arm to get the right angle, never tried a series 7 but think they come in at about 4 times the cost of this one, happy with the weight and if it lasts me 3 years then I have no problem purchasing a new shaver at that stage. Close shave for £10 a year seems a great deal to me personally.
As I said above I suffer from shaver burn may I suggest you try to not apply as much pressure and let the shaver do the work, worked for me. Best of luck.

Yes - Agree not bad for £28.50 shaver, as long as you don't compare to others at RRP £150.

Funnily enough, my sister's boyf said the same thing when I bought him a new Philishave recently (S5130) - yet he's used electric shavers for ages. I thought it was common knowledge.
Would this be the same one that Boots reckon is £149 (now £99)

Similar model number HUKD post just has KS811 after ES-ST25

How can boots justify such a bloated original price? (was £149 my backside)

Yup, same one..... Just shows what rip off pricing there is with leccy shavers.
Got the wee brother from a deal on here - from Argos? Impressed. Usually shave with a razor and finish of with the Panasonic - just leaving the shaving soap on my face or reapply some with the brush. (Still convinced it's the preparation rather than the blade, or cartridge whatever that makes all the different when wet shaving) Works well, gets the wee missed bits in one sweep, and is the best of both worlds - the wet and dry is a great feature, and then just rinses under the tap.
My model is the Milano available (in red only) from SSE for only £21. Ideal for a first shaver for a teenager's bumfluff? Christmas?

Trouble is, its way down on specs compared to the ST25.... 8 hr charge (PITA), only half the runtime with only 20 mins, no low battery warning, no auto stubble sensor, and it has the slow 7600 motor compared to the 13,000 linear of the 25. It also looks like a kids toy.
It makes the extra £7.50 for the ST25 a no brainer.

I have both..... Panny is definitely better. Blade design is sharper, motor is far faster and its more ergonomic to hold and use.
i got one of these, its a good shaver, i did try a Braun a few months back and wasn't impressed
