Haven't seen this one for a while but they've said that they have only got a limited number...all new.
Seen other shops at much higher price

Have purchased from Camera World before, good price and good service.
£685 at Amazon so a saving of £135
As well as the website Cameraworld have two shops, one in London and the other in Chelmsford. I have bought several things from the Chelmsford store, they are 100% legit.
It is UK stock so Jessops should price match if you would rather use them.

I checked with Jessops before picking one up at Cameraworld - they said they only had a few left and that they were probably display stock. even on jessops website it says not available at store

Would be very suprised if you got better service from Jessops. Jessops used to be very good, but they couldn't really be bothered when I visited them last.

Yea they used to be very good. With CameraWorld the delivery was a bit slow but this was my fault as I picked a drop of service via PayPal which confused things. The guys at Camereworld were in contact with me all the time, traced the parcel and had it re-directed. Would recomend them other Jessops.
I'm in the market for a new camera and overlooked this. Anyone know if this is a better all round amateur enthusiast 1st decent camera than the Sony a6000 or the Panasonic TZ100 that are in the same price bracket?

my use would be mainly days out, music festivals, gigs, landscapes and wildlife.

cheers for any advice

You can get great images from any of those cameras. Tz100 is the only truely pocketable, and so may get used more on days out.
Decide if you want the hassle/benefits/cost of interchangeable lenses.
For anyone who is still suspicious despite what has been said; I ordered on the day the deal was posted and the camera came this morning, all in order and legit. I look forward to getting out with it
