im looking for twin phones....want a corder one as well as they keep going awol!

Superb bargain - if you need phones grab these. None better IMO.

Nearly ordered then realised there's no built in answer machine.

I've the single version of this phone and it has worked absolutely perfectly. This is a great bargain.

can anyone explain the panasonic model numbering system? v confusing.
last number is the no of handsets;
the rest?

Got these a few months ago, they are ace and at this price a steal.

When I bought new digital phones for the home last year, all the Panasonic ones seemed to have bad reviews. I went for Siemens in the end.

Good price for 4 phones though.

Can still use BT's voicemail service though, right? Do BT charge a monthly extra for this?

EDIT: Ah, £2.59 a month...

Bought the triple pack of these a few months ago when they were on offer at Tesco last time. Fantastic phones, best we've ever had!

Granted that Siemens make great DECT phones but a lot of Panasonic DECT phones are Best Buys in Which? Here's a snippet of what Which? has to say about this particular phone which was based on its RRP:

"The Panasonic KXTG7304EB is the non-answering-machine version of the Panasonic KXTG7324EG. Its a decent mid-range model and has a great battery, but there are better phones on the market.

The Panasonic KXTG7304EB lacks many of the advanced features that you may expect of a phone at this price. Theres no speed dial or Sim-card reader, which would be useful for adding new contacts to the large, 100-number phonebook.

Battery life is very impressive, though, providing 17 hours of talk time. The phones range is also good, and if you still struggle with reception, you can connect a repeater to extend it even further.

The display itself is an illuminated monochrome-matrix one. These are better than calculator-style 14-segment displays, though this one is a little reflective.

We like the fact that the KXTG7304EB has a ringer in both the base station and handset, making it more likely that youll hear any calls.

The Panasonic KXTG7304EB can be wall mounted. Its available in single (KXTG7301EB), twin (KXTG7302EB), triple (KXTG7303EB) and quad (KXTG7304EB) packs. Its also available with an answering machine (KXTG7324EG).

Pros: Good all round performance, wall mountable

Cons: Quite expensive, reflective display"

Got a 4-handset Siemens for more than double this. Love them, and Panasonics are good too. Prefer Siemens though, but heat added.

WRONG: BT's Answer is free;

Calling Features for no extra cost

BT 1471 (get the number of the last person who called)
BT Answer 1571 voicemail^
BT Privacy^ (stops sales calls and shows who's calling).
^ You need to sign up to these when you order your Calling Plan. Charges apply if you don't make two chargeable calls with BT per month. See Calling Plan legals below for details.

The triple set is still available. Or at least it was when i ordered it a few minutes ago?

High end panasonic phones let you block calls from certain numbers, if only they would let you block withheld etc.
