The display on this is very lovely indeed. I was just looking for a single one because I was so sick of the stupid TrueCall which was more invasive than helpful. Hopefully this one will be a little less in-your-face.

Details via Argos :

50 name and number memories.
20 ringtones.
Last number redial.
Caller ID.
Call log.
Call divert.
Handsfree facility.

why cold ?

Because they can. And it's boozing time.
Thank you, good find.
Nuisance call blocking may NOT be supported according to reply in the Q & A's at Argos. ?????
I assume this is the same as the Twin set where in the Q & A's we have different answer again; I am after the twin set myself but need Call Blocker.???????
Hi, The Panasonic KX-TG7922E X2 Cordless Telephone/Answer M/c does have a nuisance call blocker. Thanks for using Argos Q&A.

Finally, Yes it does have call blocking according to the Manual ( page 30 - 31 ) on the Argos website.

Indeed. Why cold - based on a slightly mistaken Argos employee....

Nah, Adam got it right: an ability to block max 30 numbers is hardly a comprehensive nuisance call blocking solution.
BTs "Advanced Call Blocker" on its 8600 and other models is 100% effective on any amount of nuisance source numbers, but as it's based on Truecall you won't like it.

"It doesn't have a nuisance call blocker". Just took a picture of the "nuisance call blocker" label.
Obvious mistake aside, I did have exactly that BT phone and the Truecall was really annoying. I put my mum's number into it under exemptions but she still had to announce herself every time she called.
Nuisance blocker is the feature I need most. I can't find a link to the manual so could anyone with one please let me know whether it only blocks full numbers or whether it can block a group of area codes/prefixes too?
No problems with my bt with truecall, maybe yours was faulty, all numbers in the directory come through

Pg30 of manual states the Panny blocks max 30 specific numbers and has the ability to block entire prefixes. View manual in a browser and/or download it here.

With utmost respect, either your incoming caller ID service is defective/not activated, your mother is witholding her number, her number is not truely entered into the permitted numbers list, or the unit is faulty. Seriously, I would strongly suggest you reconsider the BT solution - it is the simplest 100% solution that I have ever used - and this is perpetually repeated by other members on HUKD every time the BT8600 models & similar appear on here.

I carefully followed the manual, her number was in there. Her number showed up on caller ID, she never withholds her number (doesn't know how to :p) - it was still getting held up. To be honest I'm not sure why I even bought the thing - I've not had one single PPI call with or without an intrusive call blocker since I moved here in 2002.
