Panasonic KX-TG8421 Digital Cordless Phone - £7.49 in-store at Tesco

Found 6th Dec 2013
I was a bit hesitant about sharing this as it's in-store but they've got a few clearance phones here and a few of each model as well.

It's in the Tesco Extra in Rainham, Essex as well but the staff member did think that other stores would be clearing the phones as well so might be worth a punt.

Anyway, this one has a digital answer phone with up to 40 minutes recording time, full colour screen display, speakerphone on the handset, visual message list and "Night Mode" where you can disable the ringer during selected hours.

looking for one of these - wonder if its in my local store
hate these wild goose tesco deals, but if you somehow manage to find one its a great price, so heat added
Might be in store deals only, but worth to have a look whenever you pop into tesco.

    Thanks!
    heat added!!!

I hate them as much as the next person - that's why I nearly didn't share this but when I saw it literally wasn't just one, I thought it was worth it. I've got one myself and there's definitely at least one more on the shelf (which is actually the one in the picture!) as well as the other models they have.

I probably wouldn't trawl around a dozen Tesco's for these folks, but it's still more than worth a look if you're in one based on what the staff said.
    Looked in my local nothing

This Panny is a bit posh. It's got built in voice enhancer mode while you're in a call and built in call recording facility ..

You're probably right to be cautious but in the case of DECT phones I think its always worth posting as even the metro stores have stock and they are almost always national, even if the deals vary slightly. Thanks for posting, ignore the haters.

    Thankyou *doffs virtual cap*
these are absolutely ancient! I have the same Panasonic set and bought it about 5 years ago!

Looking at the state of the boxes are they returns? Where have these been hiding? I'd be very hesitant about buying these unless you are certain they are new.

Also as usual with these Tesco deals they are non existent.

well not exactly "non existent" because I got one

yes it's most likely store specific, but they had enough phones there on clearance that if anyone does actually live in the area or can get to the store, they're more than likely to get a bargain. as i said on the 1st page, i was initially reluctant to share the deal as i've been on HUKD long enough to know that many of these Tesco deals are usually a bust but because of the amount of models they had it just seemed worth sharing.
I wish they had had these 2 weeks ago when my old ones died, heat added

    These Tesco deals never materialise.
Sometimes think its just more advertising to get you in store

funny thing is, i really could prove very easily that I have nothing to do with Tesco. As I said, this is why i hesitated in sharing the deal.
None at Southampton Bursledon Towers Extra, just an empty clearance shelf
Ignore the naysayers as you've got to be in it to win it!

Apologies it was a comment on the deal rather than the poster - maybe just sour grapes on my part as I never found one of the Tesco deals near me.

    No worries

I rarely find these magic deals either. The worst one was when someone posted about one of the first motorola tablets being reduced to about £30 quid in the tesco in gallows corner and i'd been past there just that same day !

I still do think many of them are tesco staff posting to get people to come out and spend money while they're in store looking.
