Have been looking at the Panasonic Lumix cameras for a while now, with £200 cash back bringing the price down to £349 seems like a good bargain, just in time for the new year.

1.5% with TCB, Jessops also do 6 months interest free credit

Is it worth the extra 100 quid for the extra lens...I am planning on getting the camera but wasnt planning on spending quite as much as £450 .....but dont want to miss a bargain...

Also look on the other thread - Morgie reminding possible £50 off if paying by AMEX and registered the Jessops deal....I have this so effectively get the bundle for £400

I suppose it depends on whether you will use it - the lens is on Amazon for £264, so its a bargain for an extra £100. But if it sits unused you might as well keep the £100 in you pocket! I bought it as I did not want to miss a bargain either...I will only know in a few months if it as worth it or not

Or buy the extra lens for the £100 and and resell for £200 if you dont need it

Thanks - I had tried to find the model but I figured that one on Amazon was too expensive and it woulndt be that one...saw some on ebay for c£110 from HK that were making me think it may not be worth it......think I will end up with this given the extra 50 quid off voucher you posted coupled with teh AMEX £50 and the £200 from Panny.

Cheers

Are there any restrictions on the number of cashback claims per household? I bought a GX80 about a month ago but would like a 2nd body only for my mrs. I'm struggling to find any restrictions in the T&C but can't believe they would leave themselves open to abuse.

The Olympus budget tele gets the best reviews from what I've seen - the 40-150 ez.
Personally I think I'll go for the body only offer and then pick up the Oly 14-40 and 40-150. I'd like the extra you get at the wide end with the 12-32, but the effective 20mm I'd lose could be hard for me - the 14-40 is about the same as what my main lens is on my crop sensor dslr (Tamron 17-50 2.8) and I shoot a lot at the 50mm end of it. It's a tricky one...

Someone on one of the other posts mentioned that you will only get the best out of IBIS with the Panasonic lenses

Dont forgte to claim your cashback guys...just put my claim in

Has anyone that requested cashback via cheque received theirs yet? I put mine through on the 31st Jan and still haven't had anything through. I know a few people have posted getting theirs via Paypal after 7 days.
