What about vibrating, does this vibrate?

Thanks for the reminder, saw it in store a few weeks ago at this price and thought it was a bargain but can't make a decision these days without checking HUKDs first.

But totally forgot all about it!!

Good price, but this has a faulty design. I had one of these and it worked great until some black spots started showing up on the pictures after about a month of use. Turns out some specks of dust had got on the lens. Figuring I must have used it in dusty conditions or something, I got it fixed under warranty. All was fine until about two months later when the exact same thing happened again. I read up on the issue and it turns out the way the shutter opens and closes sucks in dust and gets it onto the lens in such a way that you can't get it off with lens cleaner.

It's a good camera otherwise, but the design faults really ruin it.

All compact cameras that have telescoping lenses have this issue. As the lens comes out, it creates a vacuum inside the camera, and air from the outside is sucked in to equalise the pressure. Any bits of dirt on the outside can also be sucked in. Keeping it in a case when you're not using it pretty much removes the problem, if you just shove it in a bag or your pocket, you have to take a lot more care to make sure there aren't any teeny bits stuck to it when you turn it on.

Meh, Panasonic camera's are not all that. Last three Lumix I had where awful, captured to much noise. One of them was faulty with some sort of lens problem where it had dead pixels sent it to Panasonic for repair they messed it up more.

for Digital Camera's go for Nikon or Canon.

thx mate. black ordered.

thx for the post ad well.

ready to collect on my birthday

cheers!!!

Thanks!!

We had three of these in the family and all went kaput. lens issues.... getting stuck. plus dirty lens. we paid £129 each back in the day. so were a bit miffed. but for 39 ..wow... Not bad. Took reasonable outdoor photos and very compact. worth buying at that price but just dont expect it to be working in 2-3 years.

Good Camera. Cracking price

Might just stick with my chunky Canon by the sounds of it

if I changed my register email to new one is the code work than?

Ordered one... Thanks !
