Currys and PC World have a number of excellent reductions on cameras at the moment, just in time for Christmas. I picked this one out as an example but there are plenty of others. You have to be careful about the claimed original prices in these stores but the reduced prices are undoubtedly very attractive.

This one is from the excellent Panasonic Lumix range and is particularly slim with an internal 4x optical lens.

There were other deals in my local store which don't appear to be on the website. The Panasonic FS3 was a good one (£69.97 if memory serves).

Worth a look anyway and don't forget the £5 woucher off the Currys/PCW catalogue.

Hi
Thanks for posting. I have added an image to your post.
This is a link, made by rayman, which explains how to add images in great detail. It’s worth taking a look at if you are going to post more deals in future : - hotukdeals.com/ite…hr/
Kind regards

'andywedge' poised and ready to post there!

Excellent camera, just dont buy the red one online as i did its PINK in certain lights sent it back but looking for a black one tempted now

Have some heat

Can't seem to find any comprehensive reviews of this camera? Is it a Dixons/Currys exclusive model? I know some people are put off by that, however I wouldnt if its a decent camera (although if it is DSG exclusive I reckon the RRP is inflated?)

Anyone know how it would shape up against the Lumix FS10/11 or FS30 which are simlarly priced? Paanasonic do seem to be peoples favourites for compact digitals at this price, just wonder how this one compares to the widely reviewed other models?

I found decent reviews of the FP-1 and FP-3 so I reckon you could be right and this is a DSG exclusive. At a quick scan I think it may be a FP-3 minus touchscreen (which is no bad thing) though maybe someone else can confirm.

As stated, the advantage of this style is that they're very slim and have an integral lens cover. However, if that isn't vital I would go for the conventional style, which will probably have a better lens.

Yes, you're unlikely to be disappointed with a Panasonic.
