Hot, and tempted. But I would really like GPS for geotagging (although I also read that the first version may not work so well anyway).

Amazon also have this with free delivery.

same price on amazon: amazon.co.uk/Pan…18K

tempted, will research. in case anyone feels like offering advice, would this suffice for holiday photos? not an artist but want to be able to take pictures without having to time my button press 1.5 seconds before the event i wish to capture happens...

sorry treb i hadn't refreshed the page and so didn't see your comment until i had posted

Yeah I saw that and posted another before , but with this I went and collected so got it right away
The other hot deal ..
I advise my mate to get one , then I saw it and now I got one last week they were £99.99

I've just been out with it for a test , its really a easy to use camera as a point and shoot or to select your own scenes , Its much better than the Pentax Optio H90 and also my wife Olympus X930 its very fast at selecting the right scene mode

"Can be taken anywhere"

So I'll be taking it swimming across the Channel, inside Fort Knox and inside Guantanamo Bay.

If I can't do any of these I want a refund

its is just about small enough to be concealed if you want but it might hurt the first few times

Kurvz: how quickly does it take the pictures? i refer to the gap between you pressing the button and the image being captured

Ok I just tried it and there is not much shutter lag at all took a picture of my clock when sec hand was on the 30 and the picture it was still on the 30 but its going to be a small number I cant gauge

I found this though

Single Shot 0.28 seconds
Five Shots 9.6 seconds
Single Shot With Flash 0.45 seconds
Five Shots With Flash 13.83 seconds
Turn on Time 2.21 seconds

Shutter Lag Table

Hope this helps

I know who I'd rather buy from...

thanks that's really helpful, i'd found similar tables but was interested in your actual user experience, i was reminded of the read/write speeds of usb memory sticks and the difference between what the internet says and what the user experiences

You really don't need a camera as good as these for ebay. The Panny will be great for 'personal use' though - probably the Fuji too.

For ebay pics the camera on your mobile phone would be fine.

Ok thanks. Just need a decent one to show more details on the items I am selling. Currently using a samsung ES55

Heres a reliable review:

cameras.co.uk/rev…cfm

scores all 8's & 9's out of 10. So pretty good.

I purchased this camera back in May last year and am very pleased with it. Here's the review I used at the time to base my purchase on if it helps:

CAM5 should give you 5% off, but I cannot get it to work.

Anyway, this is a budget camera, and so it has a few downsides: no GPS, no Leica lens, no zooming during videos, videos are recorded as MJPEG (essentially a sequence of pictures) so the files are huge! I might just wait for the next good deal.

Yeah, think i`ll wait for the TZ models to come down a bit.

The ZX3 will actually give slightly better picture quality than the TZ cameras, but less good for video.

No microwave either but it's still a terrific camera at this price. Do you REALLY want GPS? My TZ10 has it but it's just a battery draining gimmick for me and most users so stays off. I find the content of the pictures is usually a pretty good clue as to where they were taken!
