Voting hot. This is a cracking little camera essentially an budget DMC-FS20 using the LCD screen from the FS3, but the same optics / engine as the FS20.

For those that want the black version, eBuyer are selling for £120, BUT it may be a grey import, and you don't get the Quidco.

Rufus.

FS3 is £95 at Ebuyer which is the same camera but just 8mp if you want to save some cash

Worth noting the FS3 has a 33-100mm (equiv) lens, whilst the FS35 is 30-120mm. So the FS5 has a wider angled lens with a greater zoom.

Though looking at the stats, the FS3 has a lower density CCD, and has wider apeture so may suffer less from picture noise issues (that used to plague the Lumix range) than it's cousin.

is this better than the DMC … is this better than the DMC FX35?...http://reviews.cnet.co.uk/digitalcameras/0,39030233,49296868,00.htm

FX35 has wider lens and HD video recording not sure its worth the extra £££ , the HD video dosent use any compression so file sizes are huge
