Almost the equivalent, I think, of the Sony Sony DSCRX10M3 Bridge Camera refurbished, shown elsewhere for over £850, but with a Leica lens and a smaller equivalent focal length of 25-400mm. and new!
Available from John Lewis with £50 cashback, making it £539.

A quick search finds other dealers at from £460, but may be grey importers.

Probably a good price but I'd advise to go for a DSLR if you're spending £500+ on a camera. Better optics and wider range of lenses. Also hold value much better when you decide to upgrade. Just my opinion.

Good features for the price for those who want a super zoom and 4k recording.

Got to be ice cold? Drones for less have this for only £465!

There's a big difference in them though. All 4K's aren't equal. Plus, this has optical zoom. Drone cameras for the most part are no better then flying GoPros (which is awesome).

It's been this price or less for over a year. I bought one from John Lewis last year. The quality is awesome, no doubt about it.

The Video quality is good but there's a real flaw - when you pan, there is judder/STUTTER when videoing moving objects. I noticed this on mine when I bought it and thought I was imagining it. I Then Googled it and saw lots of comments about it. Sadly it went back.

The FZ2000 has been out for a while now, I'm surprised this hasn't dropped in price even more.

Just checked and the price is £30 more than last year and that included the cash back. Camera must be popular hence the price hike.

I am not sure, I know we had a number of drones from them at work hence the emails keep going around where I had seen what looks like this camera.

I'm surprised that there's so much interest. Bridge photography must be a lot more popular than I imagined.

This is a couple of quid cheaper at ukdigital

Interesting, was this only at 4K? (I'm not actually intersted personally in 4K)

Well, the optical zoom is very good. And it's made by a very well know lens maker Leica. The Sony zoom is a T* made by Carl Zeiss. You can't get much better than those. The sensor is only 1" but 20 Mp. Ok, zoom lenses can't be as good as prime lenses. But who can afford a range of prime lenses nowadays? And it's all in a reatively compact body
