Personally, I'd prefer a shorter minimum focal length of say 12mm with this format of ccd

Because this is a far better camera than any camera phone, the large 1in sensor is many times larger than the tiny sensors used in phone cameras offering better detail, noise levels and dynamic range plus it has a 10x zoom versus none in a phone camera. A couple of phones have used large sensors, more recently Panasonic did offer a phone with a similar 1in sensor but it was a flop.

This camera doesn't use CCD (not that it has any effect on on focal length) and you're not going to get a long zoom lens starting at 12mm EFL. The only ultra wide fixed lens 1in camera was the ill fated Nikon DL with the 18-50mm lens which was cancelled before it was released, if you want a compact ultra wide the only option is to go for a mirrorless and a UWA lens although you won't get much zoom range.

Hahaha! You amuse me! This is sooo 1800 IMO! So are you telling me that in this modern age you still walk around with a phone, camera, radio, CD player, calculator, flash light, Filofax, camcorder, watch, calendar etc in your pocket??? Were you born in the same year as the queen?
