No knowledge when it comes to cameras. Can someone recommend which one is better to last a year or two before upgrading?

Also is the cashback same for Amezon too?

TZ57 is the better choice for an extra £10

I can only find a £20 cashback on the TZ57 it is not included in the double offer, maybe worth double checking as there are many different offers on the Panasonic website.

I advise anyone who sees another human out there with a selfie stick to use that very stick to beat the sh*t out of them.

Good deal though.

good deal, thanks for posting.

I remember reading on here about lumix cameras that don't end in 0 aren't the ones to go for, For example the 55 and 57 don't have a leica lens?? Can anyone she'd some light on this?

this is the budget model of its 'better' more expensive counterpart. it has different features and designed for a different market. Just pop to Panasonic website and read reviews on camera/tech sites to see what they have in them.

good price im tempted to replace my tz25

When you start claiming procedure the page show £20 cashback not £40

I wouldn't get too hung up on Leica lens with £100 Lumix cameras. It's just a badge. Leica lens prices

On the contrary, £100 for the Leica lens on this is a great offer. Bysides, we all don't have £5000 just to buy a lens!

Hi, for the £40 cashback offer, go to Panasonic Double Cashback Promotion page
then click the second link from the top, View Cashback and Gift terms and conditions.
I hope this helps

sorry just seen that "ctdctd" has already posted this link!

Leica lens are manufactured by hand in Germany/Portugal and Canada. The point I was making is the Lecia lens used by Panasonic, albeit a reasonable lens is going to be similar if not the same in quality to a non Leica lens on a Panasonic. No Panasonic/Leica lens has ever had a Leica lens maker touch it and the non Leica Panasonic lens will be assembled in the same factory as the 'badged' Leica lens. There's nothing wrong with that at all, but as I originally stated I wouldn't go chasing a Leica badged Panasonic purely for the lens if there were other cameras in the range that were sporting a non Leica 'badged' lens.

EDIT: Voted hot as this is a good deal, and my point is that the camera you bought is not badged 'Leica' as far as I can tell and that is fine.

Too true! On a camera like this it would make no difference anyway, similar to people thinking the 'zeiss' lens on a sony compact makes a difference.

Can anybody tell me the difference between this model and TZ55 which I can get for about £77. I have looked at the website and can't see the difference. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I'm not sure that that sounds enough of a difference to pay over 40% more for. I thought there might be something else I was missing - other than the selfie stick of course.
