just looked on camelcamelcamel and its not quite the lowest which says £206 in october, but that looks like a blips,
its £12 lower than comet / dixons etc

i'm choosing this over the nikon p500, pentax x90
has anyone got this, does it shoot quickly. tried out a fujifilm s2950 but it seemed so slow

am i making the correct decision, i need it for the missus on xmas day, as she has a new niece etc and is not happy to wait

I went for the fuji HS20EXR last week and i love it...30x zoom and 16mp........factory refurb was £189 from Fuji with the 15% off code on hotukdeals...You cannot tell its a refurb and it came next day...

I am sitting next to my trust FZ38.

The FZ45 has the swivel screen (Better).

Get it. VERY good reviews and I can vouch for the quality of photos.

Go Herehotukdeals.com/mis…255 and see photos by me and Richp. we both have the same camera.

Quick startup and half the weight of the Fuji. and that LEICA lens.

does it take a quick picture then..
that was the partners main concern, she saw the h20 yesterday and didn't like it.

women more vanity than research on which is the best..

anyone have experience of returning unopened boxes to amazon for a refund

I just counted around 3 secs from start to shoot inc auto-focus.

Probably 1.5 secs if set on manual

I bought one the other week and it's fantastic. Very flexible, light and easy to use. You can use it as a point and push in IA mode or you can go manual and play around with all the settings. I've never used a camera on manual before, where you have control over aperture, asa, shutter speed etc....but I've been playing with this....and I haven't taken a bad pic. I would definitely recommend buying it and buy some filters for even more fun.:p

Have some heat

It's the FZ100 with swivel screen Rizla01

If speed is a high priority compare the FZ45 to the FZ47 (If you can get one)

I bought this tripod to go with my FZ45

ebay.co.uk/itm…614

It's great quality and price and perfect for indoor or summer work. Very stable with my FZ45 on it.

I also bought these full and graduated filters from Hong Kong. They are very cheap and pretty good quality with fast delivery.

You'll have great fun with all of this stuff.:p

Oh. Good. Don't feel so bad now and I stand corrected.

A few reviews do state that it has the swivel screen tho?

All of you that like taking photos,. tell me.

When are we going to see you over here?

Don't be shy

I have this and just posted a picture ( on here) taken last night pointed at the moon. Used the Manual settings and results are pretty good. I would say this camera is worth every penny but do read the manual and try all the settings, you will be amazed at the results you can achieve. Also the HD Video is just top notch and battery life brilliant.

Just buy it.

I also bought these lol!

ebay.co.uk/itm…e59

This set and the previous set posted gives you almost all of the filters you will ever need.

One final filter worth buying is the variable ND filter which allows you to reduce the sunlight coming in through the lense, so that you can take pictures with a higher aperture setting....

Yep. You are.

A second battery is advisable tho (Don't need to pay extortionate Panny prices)

Worth keeping your eyes peeled for a case for it.

There were recently a lot of bargains on Amazon.
