Was looking for this lens on my Panasonic G7 and found this to be by far the lowest price. It is the silver version though. 100% prefer this to the 25mm as its sharper and much lighter...

Amazon lowest price £240
Ebay lowest price that I could find was £200

Also a coupon code for £5 off - MAY5TD

Brings it down to £183.99!!!

Seems a lot of money for what it is.

Excellent general purpose lens. Pin sharp pictures. Highly recommended. Although, not sure about the retailer.

Terrible retailer.

Terrible retailer.

Item is over £100 so can qualify for S75 protection when purchased directly via UK credit,so the UK credit provider jointly and severally assumes responsibility of the retailer. Obviously if you have a terrible credit card company... but at least there will be credible UK-based redress.

Good price but agreed on the terrible retailer.

Also heard this might have slow AF but haven't used this lens myself personally to know whether it's an issue or not.

If it's broken when you receive it Paypal won't refund you anything until you return it - check out how much a fully tracked and insured service to China will be - there won't be much left out of your refund.

Had absolutely no problems with eglobal, bought 2 UE Megaboom's, a pair of Shure SE846 earphones and a Pioneer XDP 100 HiRes Audio player which had a manufacturing fault and was replaced no questions asked. 3 -5 shipping order to delivery every time via DPD. They might have had issues in the past but have been superb for me and I will continue to use them.

Returns are sent to the UK office for inspection, get your facts straight before posting rubbish you know nothing about.

Nothing wrong with eglobal , been using them for years , I had only one faulty item in the past & returns are to a UK address , replacement sent no problem. Excellent to deal with. Oh and the 20mm is a great wee lens to have & use.
Thanks op

I went for the 25 1.7 (£138 from Jessops) because I wanted a normal lens and also because of reports that the 20mm has very slow focussing for video. looks good in terms of size/weight though.

Reconsider. Any single item costing over £100 should always be considered for being funded directly using UK credit to benefit from UK section 75 protection. Paypal protection is completely inferior to s75 and any Paypal protection ceases after 180days anyway. S75 obliges the UK credit provider to jointly and severally honor the purchase contract, so if your item becomes defective it's the UK credit provider's legal obligation to rectify. Easy-read S75 legal interpretation here:
