Looks a fab price for this camera. Very tempted as I am looking for lightweight system with an evf.

Without meaning to sound like I am picking a fight, I am curious as to what is the better option prompting so many cold votes? (Thinking of eventually getting Panasonic 20mm pancake and the Olympus 45mm to pair with it, but like the comfort blanket of the kit zoom initially.)

You can buy the Body only from SRS for only £239 (after cashback).

Or if you have American Express. £300 after £50 cash back from amex

Thanks also.

I think at this price it's still worth buying it with the kit lens which has pretty good reviews

What are SRS like to deal with, I've never come across them?
Can't believe these are so cheap with the cashback, I my get one instead of the Olympus M10 while they're so much cheaper
How does the 35-100 lens (that's bundled in the twin lens package with these guys) compare to Olympus's 40-150?

Good from what I can gather.

Can't believe this is cold. I bought one. Delighted!
The body only is a great deal if you already have lenses.
If I can live with the kit zoom I'll likely upgrade to the expensive Olympus 12-40/2.8 M.Zuiko PRO when I see a decent deal; lots of talk that it's a 'do everything' lens which could save a fortune on primes.

I'm gonna nip to my local John Lewis to see if they have these on display - I've had a play with the Olympus M10 and liked it, but these are crazy cheap in comparison. I'm not sure about the kit lens with these - I'm used to my effective 28-80 range on my current SLR and I think the 60mm might not be enough at the long end.

Nice deal. I notice the GX8 is also in the £200 cashback promotion for anyone who is wanting one of those
