Was about to buy this from CURRYS in their on-line sales but then saw that John Lewis also had the same model with 2 Years WARRANTY......no brainer!!!

Big capacity at 32Litres and 900W power. Silver finish.

Has been reviewed in the latest Which? magazine so keen to know what review it might have got if anyone knows.

Excellent deal, my last Panasonic microwave lasted over 12 years and just replaced with another.

This thing is MASSIVE! Good deal...

What are you going to cook in it, a turkey?

Looks like a good deal. Personally, I'll think twice before I buy a Panasonic microwave. Last one I had caught fire and I had a massive sense of humour failure. oO
Bought from Comet, and of course they went bust, so in the skip it went. Go to Google and start typing "Panasonic microwave cau"... It will autocomplete to "Panasonic microwave caught fire".

Still on my first Panasonic microwave. Bought 22 years ago

Wow!....do you ever use it?

Have to admit this will be my third one.
First lasted 3 years and second is giving up the ghost after 5yrs.....both with heavy family use!

Have to admit inverter technology gives good even heating quickly.
The price for the size and power is good enough reason to try third.

Is this stainless steel?

i had a panasonic microwave that lasted 10 years +, and replaced it with a samsung microwave , I've learnt my lesson Should have stuck with a Panasonic, everything is a lot more solid and refined

just Silver

Thanks for posting this. We had a panasonic one that lasted around 15-20 years. Then a kenwood 6 years ago, it works but the plate doesnt turn anymore. Already spent £40 getting it repaired twice.

Hopefully this will last as long as our first panasonic microwave!

just Silver

Silver paint finish on the outside and acrylic lining on the inside.

Currys have a similiar model at 30 litres 900W which is the Kenwood K30GSS13 with GRILL for £89. This is St/St on outside but for £10 more i think this is better as you get 2 years warranty from John Lewis.

We bought a Panasonic (with inverter). Worked well for 2 years and then gave up. Panasonic didn't want to know.

If you search Google there are loads of people who have had problems with inverters.

It seems if you bought one around 5+ years ago you probably have a good one.

I'm sticking with cheap supermarket ones for the moment.

Which scored this microwave 60% when tested. It's one of the few Panasonic microwaves not to get a best buy! Did well on most tests but, they reckon it emits an annoying humming noise when cooking. It was also slower to cook some meals particularly if you were putting one in after another.

2 years Warranty and 6 years Sale of Goods Act should cover it (_;)

What else would it autocomplete to? Panasonic microwave caught 20lb carp? Panasonic microwave caught notorious local blackmailer?

Good price for a very big device.

Still on my Panasonic from 15 years ago...and yes I use it.

My Daughter had a Tesco branded microwave which broke just after a year old - Tesco didnt want to know. I replaced it with a Panasonic with similar features - I was surprised to find that they were identical microwaves apart from the name.

Well, I have a Panasonic combi oven/Microwave with inverter technology. Had it about a year now and still going strong. However it replaced a working Sharp rotary base microwave. This was/is quicker at heating food. However it doesn't like metal objects placed in it when microwaving!

Oh and it's more powerful!

A 32l capacity microwave-function only microwave, no grill, no convection oven. Just about as useful as a chocolate fireguard. JL can't sell a single one for £160 so they are looking for mugs that think that suddenly at £99 it is suddenly useful and don't mind wasting worktop space on it.

Oh well.

I want a big microwave so I can shove a large plate in it. I dont need the other functions as i have a proper oven and grille. I have plenty of work top space.

Oh well.

Great for family use when heating large casserole dishes or meals.

The extra volume is sometimes in terms of the height of the unit as opposed to turntable size.

Not many other models out there with these specs for the price.

We saw this in Currys this morning for £99 - excellent deal - unfortunately, they didn't have any in stock or at any of the other local stores not the warehouse.

Our last Panasonic (Inverter) has just started causing problems after 10 years solid use and 4 house moves - so yes - overall have been very pleased with it - a good price for a lot of machine
