Good deal.

Same price everywhere else I've looked. Not really a deal.

same price on Amazon because southern electric sell via Amazon as well as their own website. pixmania have it listed via southern electric too. rrp is 699 . John Lewis are the cheapest high st retailer at £637 with 5 year warranty costing an extra 129. I bought the unit and have been very impressed with it so far. I had looked for a long time at buying it and up until a month ago best price I could find was 548 from rgb direct. I think it's a good deal so I shared it.

They've dropped the price to £484 now - I just bought one. Great Deal, can't see why someone would say it's the same price everywhere else - it isn't

! ! taken a drop again to £443 , 25/04/14.

although a slightly different model number...? seems to have same features

my mistake just checked my invoice and it has the same model number NA-140VS4WGB, that's a cracking price now

Cheers, our current machine is on its last legs, sounds like an airplane taking off at times so may go for this! Not many reviews about though. This one has smaller drum (8KG) but 1600 instead of 1400 - amazon.co.uk/Pan…BZA cheaper too.

can vouch for it so far after a couple of weeks or so. We had a Dyson cr01 previously which was built like a tank. this is just as sturdy but of course more modern. some really nice simple touches, countdown timer tells you how long to go, very quiet in operation, coin trap similar to our old Dyson, haven't used it yet but very handy to have a point where coins etc are caught and can be removed fairly easily. delivery guys were great, moved it into our utility room after taking away packaging, also took our old machine away for us which was great.

Was going to ask if they would take old one away, no mention of it on their website. That's good. Presume just one cold water pipe to connect and job done?

Original Poster

correct ; no hot water connection, cold feed only. four transit clamps to be removed before use, all fairly straightforward

Use code SSE10 and buy it for £398.70 including free delivery and five year warranty as I did. And, yes, delivery firm will remove old machine if requested when they call to arrange delivery time. When I spoke to the woman in John Lewis white goods she said it is a very good machine and SSE price is ridiculously cheap.

page crashed, probably thanks to HUKD.

They would have a hard job as Dyson pulled out of the washing machine market some years ago!

Original Poster

exactly, Dyson made great washing machines and had amazing service backup but they are no longer in production and support has now stopped also

We bought a Panasonic washing machine about a year ago - to replace a very good Bosch. But the repair required was too expensive and we decided to get a new machine. I did a fair bit of research before going for the Panasonic. There was hardly anything the Panasonic washing machines - and no reviews. But we got a very good deal from the Co-op.

So far the Panasonic washing machine is performing well, but a bit noisy when just starting to go into its spin mode.
