Panasonic NA147VB5WGB washing machine £332.49 @ The Gas Superstore using code JAN15, plus it qualifies for £100 cashback from Panasonic and 5 year warranty (effectively £232.49 delivered after cashback)
£332.49The Gas Superstore Deals
This has been £249 after Panasonic cashback from several places but most are sold out. The Gas Superstore still has stock and there is 5% code JAN15 which brings it down to £332.49 delivered (effectively £232.49 after panasonic cashback). Website says code ends Monday 5th Jan - still working now so its possibly end of Monday.
If you can afford the extra go with the Samsung
so its worth paying the extra ? another £130
i think reading comments there is a higher probability of there being a problem with the panasonic then the samsung in the 5 year warranty period. it can take some time for engineer to arrive with parts or a new machine if written off and taking time off etc this is a big inconvenience to busy house holds but if it doesn't bother/affect you then go with the cheaper model.
also i think the panasonic model is an older model and likely being discontinued hence the cashback and guarantee offer
Great. Mine's just finished a delicate wash:

I looked at the Samsung thread but its not all positives for their machines either and someone posted this quote in the Samsung thread so they can't be that bad.
Its a tricky choice but end of the day even if you go for the Samsung there is no guarantee it won't go wrong...... If you look on some of the "white goods" sites, washing machine repairers suggest that panasonic machines are robust but a pig to repair and a few years ago parts were difficult to get hold of. Hopefully that has improved.
there is the £200 cash back, so £369.99 in total.
It was cheaper at PRC direct earlier in the week by £20 but overall good price.
Should be able to wash the sleeping bags and duvets hopefully with the 10kg load.

I've had no end of trouble with mine. John Lewis eventually exchanged it for a Siemens. Wouldn't buy another Panasonic. Should stick to making TVs.
To qualify for cashback you had to purchase by 9 th Jan......
