I get that this is probably going to go cold for the high price, but I've been looking at these exceptional new TVs and they just got a whole lot cheaper.

40CX802 @ £1099 with £100 cash back

50CX802 @ £1599 with £100 cash back

55CX802 @ £2199 with £200 cash back

65CX802 @ £3299 with £200 cash back

They are also offering cash back on the curved CR852 range (£200 on the 55" and £300 on the 65") and the lower specced CR730 range (£200 on both models). I can't seem to find these on the Panasonic Store to check for prices, maybe they aren't out yet (I have no interest in curved screens).

The prices on the Panasonic Store seem to be the cheapest around, and couple with the six year warranty, this seems to be the place to buy. These are fantastic TVs, a massive step up on the AX902 from last year, especially in terms of input lag which was appalling last time around. Hope someone finds this helpful.

Yeah you're right, products come down in price. Congratulations on that fascinating insight.

at what point do you take the plunge

can't think like that

Panasonic Tv's - gets a hot from me regardless of price. I love my Panasonics

massive fan of panny, great tv put there is no way I would pay this for a 4k tv with oled the reason why I've come from the Panasonic st60 with had one of the best contrasts amd black level around going from that to any l.e.d will be like down grading in picture quialty 4k or nor, led = light bleed chalky blacks no thank you I'm going to pass on this and wait for a oled 4k or quantom dot

without o.l.e.d * typo

Panasonic OLEDs expected next year. Worth pointing out that these do have very good black levels for an LCD, and the colour reproduction is probably the best on the market.

At present (when they come in stock, that is) it's a gamble over saving a £100 elsewhere plus the £300 off deal for the 65" or paying that extra £100 for an extra years' warranty with Panasonic stores. Still, Richer will no doubt price match and give their 6yr warranty - answered me own dilemma.
Panasonic OLEDs may be coming next year but I can't see them being cheaper than LG, - as they are sourcing screens from them.

Just a little cheaper at RS (with the same 6-year warranty) - only looked at one model though, the 55CX802.
