Great TV at Great Price. It is Panasonic official refurbished and thus come with Panasonic 1 Year Warranty.
The price dropped from £749 to £629 as it featured on Ebay Deals Page today.

It's got great reviews by What Hifi and got AVForum's Recommended which a product gets when it scores between good and excellent in most core competencies and offers a performance level in its market sector that makes it a 'must see' product when compiling your short list.

Also to note is that when AVFORUM reviewed it in October 2015, it's price was over £1900. Yet it got the Recommended Award.

Just to add, The CR852 is Panasonic’s latest curved Ultra HD 4K LED LCD TV and represents one of their higher-end models.

I'm not too versed with TV's... but I'm seriously considering to buy this one, the more I read about it... However it will be nice to know your thoughts if anyone had first hand experience with this.

Will appreciate your feedback... Thanks.
Be warned you'll need an extra wide TV stand for this (over 1.236 metres), unless you wall mount it. Basically this is the curved version of the CX802, and that gets rave reviews.

Great price - heat.

I think curved tvs look terrible when wall mounted (not that they are much better on a stand) though each to their own. ;-)

If I drink enough, I see 2 TV's as well
Just want to ask, is this vestel set?

No. True Panasonic.
Gotta think about customer service with tvs if its dung or plays up best to be covered. Amazon all the way for electrical goods.
Looks good. I'm personally hanging on for an ultra hd premium TV if anyone spots a great deal for one please post!

This one is Curved and different series. Not sure how they both compare against eachother. May be some one can shed light on it...
My wife is dead set against any refurb, or I'd be tempted (Panasonic's name spoilt by the idiotic Vestel link)

Also the Flat version model you mentioned above, was reviewed in June last year, which might suggest it was older model.
According to hdtvtest this is a Samsung panel .will it be as good as the 802b considering this

John Lewis, Costco and richer sounds for me.
5 year warranty
I bought the Panasonic TX-55CX700B from Currys in November last year for £900 with a 5 year guarantee. I much preferre this to any curved tv, it is a great tv for the price and the picture and sound are both stunning, but the best bit is its not some crappy vestal!!! :P

Is it worth going for this or the 680b that's on here for same price with a 5 year guarantee

I have no issues with refurbished electricals if the warranty is there. Is the OP tv actually a refurb or customer return?

Refurb apparently
Why would anyone want a curved television ?? Surely defeats the object of a flatscreen, may aswell buy a CRT for a fraction of the price m.ebay.co.uk/itm…341?hash=item3d1ad79235:g:WjcAAOSwqYBWp5~9

Refurb apparently

Arguably better then as it has failed already. ;-)

Not necessarily. Who's to say they sorted the problem ? get a picture up and get it out the door. having worked in a factory before with repairs, thats the common attitude
take the curve off and i can pay £400...
curved tv's make your eyes go funny

Solution for Curve:
Buy it with an Iron
Lay it upside down....
I'm sure u can figure out the rest what to do

turn
According to AVForums Review its not great for gaming.

“the CR852 proved to be something of a disappointment. We measured the lag at 60ms, It should be noted that the input lag was the same regardless of whether we engaged the Game mode”

Shame because apart from that it looked like a decent tv and I was seriously considering it.

Ah... so that means if you don't do gaming you're OK?...

Also, anyone knows whats the 3D quality like?
Note this is very thick when you look at it side on. I'm in the process of buying a new 55" TV, and currently looking to return a Samsung 6800 series nano which has a terrible refresh rate, so very jerky and juddery watching any fast moving scenes, but it's also far too thick you see it from the side.

Replacing with a Sony as those are incredibly this sets as well as excellent picture and very good refresh rates.

Google for images of this Panasonic, it looks about 2.5 inches thick.
Panasonic want £400 for last years version of this tv to be repaired because it started clicking noises on the 366th day after purchase from this exact ebay seller. I have bought a tv with a 5 yr warranty andwill. Never buy pana or ebay or refurb or 1 yr warranty again
