I have just received my headphones, and GOD am I pleased.
The noise cancelling is the best for their league (obviousley not as good as the Goldring NS1000), but for train, car and everyday noise cancelling, it can't be beaten.
The sound quality is warm and bass reproduction is good (not augmented to annoying levels).
The quality of the product is good and doesn't feel cheap.
I think I have made a very good purchase here.

do these still work if the battery runs out?

Yep.

I bought a pair and am very pleased. Good sound quality, not quite Sen' PX100. Very thin cable which is a shame. Fold nicely.

Bit of a hiss with NR on in quite environments, but that's not much of an issue in real world. Son used them in the car, and meant he could keep the volume down.

I was even more please when I saw them in PC World for £110.:w00t:

Thanks WasBeen

I was originally looking at the PX100's as they are roughly the same price. I dont know which ones to choose as I will use them on the tube occasionly, but I had a pair of Sennheiser headphones before and they were superb.

Decisions decisions????
