Looks like a great deal, both items are selling separately for £284, with £30 cash back too, £69 gets you a lot of kit. If you add another ALL2 wireless speaker, so you pay £198 for the 2 speakers and the stereo adaptor, you then qualify for £80 cash back, £118 for items that would ordinarily cost £454. I cannot find any bad reviews, am I missing something here or is it a deal?

I can only see the speaker only at that price, Currys do have a link to the cashback site, I would more comfortable buying from them on that basis.

Yes, I saw that, but here you get a reduced price and no need to try to sell on surplus items.
Gets good reviews on Amazon
It's a really good speaker. I bought one of the all2s with 2 all3s through the Panasonic eBay outlet.

So worth it at this price?
Could you not buy 2 of the packages and still qualify for the £80 cashback offer as regardless of the item that Curry's is bundling with it you have still bought 2 of the speakers as required by the cashback terms and conditions to get the £80 cashback?

Have just read all the T & C's and can't work out whether you can buy them together or in 2 separate transactions and whether it matters if you buy them with other bundled items as nothing says you can or can't so just wondered if anyone had tried?
Here is my negative review. I bought a pair of these on black Friday which with the cash back would have made them £70 each. So in summary;
- One of them didn't see my wireless network on set up, all my other new devices connected effortlessly to it. Only after faffing with my router did it finally find it and the setup continued.
- The app worked on my nexus 5 but not fully on my hudl2 and I couldn't get to to proper config panels for them.
- Clock radio alarm function was unreliable
- They would ungroup themselves randomly
- Both dropped off my network and needed to be reconfigured.

I initally debated whether to take them back but when they started dropping off my network then that was the last straw so back they went. I have to say I didn't really like the app as that was more or less all you have to drive it so you can't use your favourite music player with it. This is probably the same for other multi room speakers.

So the positives were that the hardware is really a nice design, solid and sounds quite good as you would expect from Panasonic. I also really like having the 6 buttons on the top that can be programmed as shortcuts to internet radio stations and means you don't have to get your phone out to play them. You can buy refurbished models in the range from the Panasonic ebay outlet shop for alot less than in store prices although the all2 work out more expensive than the cash back deal. They seem to have alot of these refurbished speakers available which tells you alot.

I was very disappointed and think the main problems are with the qualcomm chipset that power these devices and I doubt that easily fixed. So my advice is that go in with low expectations and expect that you have to return them. I think it's a good idea to experience them yourself as you don't get to test the software in an instore demo and it makes you think about how you want a multi room speaker setup to function.

The next couple of years will see alot of these multi room speaker systems come out and it will be interesting to see which ones come out the best. I'm keeping an eye out on the amazon echo.

So an even better deal, that will work too, if you need two adaptors then no reason why not.

I did read that the firmware upgrade can be a lengthy process, but absolutely required for correct functionality.
There were some good prices for this range on the Panasonic Ebay outlet before Christmas. Might be worth a look.
Thanks. Ordered 2. £118 minus whatever I can sell the extra all 1c for about £70? £48 for two speakers and the connector. Yay
OOS!

It forces you to update the firmware on initial config. The first one failed but I managed to get it to complete later. So both were on the latest firmware as of end of Nov/early Dec and the app was the version out around that time as well.

Are you using the Qualcomm app?

I used both but there are some config functions that are only available in the Panasonic app. Don't get me wrong I'd have loved this to work but I just thought it needed more work. Qualcomm do have an api for ios and android available but rather frustrating there isn't one for Linux as it would have been nice to see if some of the issues could have been overcome with a raspberry pi acting as a central controller. If I can get them very cheap I might be tempted to have another look.

Just checked and indeed there is a major update, I guess they knew it was a weak point and needed to get it out before loads of Xmas returns. Unfortunately I won't be able to try it as it needs to connect to a speaker!
back on stock going to cancel the John Lewis one now
Does this work with Amazon music apps?
Thanks is in order. I continued to kick myself after missing out on this deal so tried my luck in store. They eventually found the deal on their system and after a bit of reluctance, agreed to process an order for me. I have to wait for the stereo adapters as they're coming from a warehouse but I did walk out with the last two speakers. If anyone is still interested outside of the north west, you need to go to a store which has the speaker/s in stock and get customer service to look up the deal. The item number for the stereo adapter is 110399 and the item number for the deal is 154639. It's a bit tricky because the store that has the speaker/s may not have the stereo adapter/s. The stereo adapter/s may have to come from a warehouse or the store may have to arrange with another store to have stock transferred. Some stores have surplus stock of stereo adapters because they haven't got speakers left to pair them with. Anyway, hope this helps
Anyone got google play working with these?
Everyone received their cashback ok? I opted for mine via cheque and it arrived in just two weeks :-)
